I yearn for action
Plague
As Plague got into more fights he felt himself drawn to them. From six months old on the boy found himself training his body to pass time and perhaps mask some sort of underlying issues. The pain of sore muscles made him feel as if he was being productive. But most of all, they made him feel. He found fighting achieved similar goals. Since he turned one he had more opportunity to venture forth from the lands of Ashen. He heard stories of the battlefield from the warriors and even close family members. A place of little law and lots of bloodshed. It was a place that brought shivers down his spine as a pup but now brought tingles of excitement to his paws as a yearling. The Prince found himself lurking the battlefield in hopes of hearing a call for a spar. After a short while he felt as though he may have to just howl for a fight himself. But, just before giving up hope Plague saw a figure in the distance. Large paws carried the phantom closer to the stranger with mild caution. Plague noticed there weren't any notes of a pack in the scent, or at least any of the packs he knew of. It was fairly easy to say it was a loner. He was aware of the dangers that came with being a loner in the battlefield. Either the stranger wanted to be claimed or was looking for a fight. Plague would determine which it was. As more distance closed he looked over the stranger's odd coloration and markings. Blue on blue and even blue-er eyes. Plague thought the male looked unique and was rather easy on the eyes. But, he wasn't here to think of anything before testing his one on one sparring skills. After stopping at a good ten tail lengths away Plague called to the stranger, "Are you here to spar?"

"I've never sparred with a wolf your size, you are young too full of life. So I wish you the best." Eraithus was unsure if he should make the first move. So instead he readied his defenses and lowered his body, ears pinned against his head as his tail prepared for an assault. It was clear he would have to use his wits about him with this one - bigger meant more power Eraithus himself was inbetween such things but he clearly was at a disadvantage if he was not careful.
Young one, Plague didn't feel that much younger then the stranger but maybe a year or two. Nevertheless there was clearly truth to his words. The Prince still held a youthful slimness to him that was slightly muddled by his muscle. All that exercise seemed to form his body into a running and fighting machine. Now he just had to work on his skills in and out of battle to be where he wanted to be. If Venom was going to be Empress then Plague needed to be in tip top shape to protect her. They would be the new generation of leaders and the male wanted to be able to fill his uncles' paw prints. "I am Plague Klein-Abraxas of Ashen and I am also here to fight." A very simple introduction with a gruff tone and eager eyes. With a disclaimer from the blue Wolf Plague couldn't help but to wonder how he hadn't encountered a Wolf his size. Many Wolves in his pack were massive and with more years under his belt it would seem bound to happen at least a few times. Yet, it seemed the time had come for the blue Wolf to face a much larger opponent. "Good luck." A phrase he said a few times now before battle even though the male didn't believe in luck. He only believed in physical and mental ability. Nevertheless, the younger boy locked down his defenses. With weight evenly distributed, ears flattened, eyes narrowed, tail flagged, and hackles raised the beast was ready. Inky lips curled up into a horrific snarl as Plague began his assault. Large paws hit the earth with strong strides as Plague charged forward at his opponent. The yearling aimed to slam his chest into the blue Wolf's chest in hopes of making his opponent stumble backwards or even knock the wind out of him. In the meantime Plague also attempted to land a hefty bite at Eraithus' neck, the right side below his opponents jaw joint if possible. Plague Klein-Abraxas vs Eraithus for Spar

It didn't matter, in a mere few seconds Eraithus had a chance to attack. Trying to use his smaller size to his advantage, he lowered himself further bending at the knee's and spreading his toes into the sand for traction. As he raised his head he opened his jaws wide attempting to tilt his head to the left and stick his jaws onto the massive boys chest. Straight for the middle he aimed for his upper jaw to clamp down farther to Plague's right side and his lower jaw closer to the center of the man's chest. Taking a chance he lifted his right leg in an attempt to hook it around plague's left limb and tuck it closer to himself to throw off his balance.

The two wolves collided and Plague let forth a rippling grow from the depths of his throat. Bruising would impact Plague's chest due to the impact, the region throbbed already. But, he felt as though the pain was worth potentially winning the fight. Thankfully he was able to land a bit at his opponent's neck. The metallic taste of blood landed on his taste buds causing adrenaline to further pump through his form. Plague continued to lock in his defenses as the ball moved into his opponents court. Ears remained flattened, eyes narrowed, knees and elbows were bent. Plague's aim was to remain loose, rigidity was never good in a fight. His tail was flagged out to be aligned with his spine for balance. Hackles were raised to protect the tenderness beneath. It didn't take long for the blue boy to retaliate. A bite from Plague's opponent landed on the Prince's chest. Teeth punctured the tight skin with ease and blood slipped down his chest, painting his white fur red. As well as the bite Eraithus hooked Plague's left leg in aim to throw the larger boy off balance. Plague did feel a moment of unease but slammed his paw back down quickly. He actually aimed to pressed his front left paw down on his opponent's front right paw in attempt to pin the limb and put pressure on the toes. After evenly distributing his weight between his three other paws Plague would focus further on his assault. Plague released his grip on Eraithus' neck and attempt to connect a bite to the blue boy's upper back. Since the smaller male maintained a low stance with the bite on Plague's chest it gave Plague opportunity to attack from above which he would try to take advantage of. Quicker still the large opponent was using his size against him. As Plague moved to bite further up his back Eraithus would take the chance. He attempted to lower himself further almost crouching, in doing so Plague's bite centered behind his scruff near his shoulder blades. The thin amount of fur there punctured causing a heafty bite wound bleeding out as Eraithus growled. His hackles still raised, ears pinned and his shoulders rolled inward for protection. His stomach muscles tightened to keep his balance so close to the ground. Eraithus himself made his attempted assault, underneath the abraxas Erin's head tilted to his left heading towards Plague's left forelimb. In this attempt his upper jaw aimed to clamp shut on the limb and his lower jaw on the other side as well. Eraithus aimed to gain purchase wanting to push the large wolf off his balance by throwing the limb further in. He wanted the giant to topple.
