It was time for the feast to begin. This spread was provided by the Nomads, raw meat, cooked meat, delicacies, drinks, alcohols, teas, or simple water. The choices were endless, fruits included and baked goods peppered in as well like a tasty scavenger hunt. The next feasts would be provided by the hunting and fishing competitions, a share of the meat going to the feast, while the rest the hunters could portion out to each other to do what they wished with it.
The bonfire had been lit and cast warm, multi-colored firelight over the feasting “table”. There was room for many, and she took a seat at the head of the table, tossing her head back to sing to the guests, inviting them to fill their bellies. Certainly, many would have traveled from the opposite side of the continent, perhaps further, and a meal would probably be very welcomed.
Her tail flicked as she settled in, taking her own small portions with Ayodele’s help and waited for any guests to arrive and take their picks.

At first glance, Aurielle's coat is pure white.. Her fur has an iridescent quality (like moonstones) where the fur shimmers different colors under various angles of light: in this case, the colors shown by rainbow moonstones. Not one hair on her hide is a solid unnatural color, but, ya know, it's really hard to convey that in still art :P
Aurielle's English is heavily laden with an Irish, Swedish mixed accent.
Her family is allowed to crash all her threads, Private and Open.
As of Autumn Year 14, Aurielle glows with a bright blue-white bio-luminescence in her fur, and bears a marking over her left eye - see profile and reference.
It was her first time out of the northern territories, but Rhaegara did her best to never miss a party. Every public moment was an opportunity to learn more, and she figured it safer from slave traders and the likes, which still had her set on edge.
Despite all of the strange aspects of the lands and their cultural dynamics, festivals were something refreshing and familiar. She recalled the annual festival of the Tribes, how they promoted cooperation between the Tribes right before the winter season hit, though the peace only ever lasted as long as the fires of the northern regions were still lit. When the smoke started to fade once more, the peace broke and alliances returned to normal, raids happened… she was unsure if it were the same here, but she supposed the customs were a little different, as Loners had never been allowed back home.
She hesitantly made her way, Carlys perched on the center of her back. She marveled at the sight, so many options widely available, Carlys giving her a look that so easily translated to ‘holy shit’. It was more than she had been used to, a wide variety of foods, amazing smells lingering in the air as well. She saw the familiar glow of the Spirit of Valhalla, a soft smile creeping across her features, nodding to the woman in greeting though the yearling remained silent and in awe of that which surrounded her.

He’d been getting a freshening up from Cairo, and finally, Ardyn arrived in a fiery blur of night-black fur, grinning in passing to the strange woman and piping a “hello” before he nestled up beside his mother, staring at all the food with wide mismatched fore and ice eyes before he investigated and sniffed his way through.
One large wooden bowl that had been turned from a burl of oak – not that he in his young age had any idea the level of craftsmanship that had gone into hewing out the burl and sandrubbing it into a shiny smoothness before oiling it – steamed with a meaty stew that particularly enticed his nose and sent his tongue to drowning in anticipation, and with some help from Ayodele, he soon had a serving and was tucked beside his brilliant white mother, eating dedicatedly, though his eyes watched those who came.
Eventually his belly was comfortably full and he felt thirst tugging at him. However, the first liquid he went for his mother quickly intervened with one of those laughs that said he’d tried to go for something only grownups were supposed to eat, like the herb stock.
He was nudged to a bowl of water that he lapped gratefully, before tucking himself against her hip, watching the feasting wolves with the dreamy gaze of the well-fed.

Ardyn at first glance is as black as can be imagined with a raven sheen.
Closer inspection proves that he shimmers in fire tones in every hair on his hide right down to his lashes.
More obviously, he glows like a bed of coals and flames with every movement and brush of fur. His tail is usually wagging, so blazes like a torch.
His adult teeth are in and his saber canines have grown to their full length (see profile). His mane and tail hair have grown to full length, as well as being lightweight and easily buffeted by breezes.
A look at his front paws will give the impression of hands, with his dew claw dropped low and lengthened into a functioning thumb, and his toes elongated into fingers. He has retractable, solid black cat-like claws on every paw.
Ardyn has developed a glowing mast of intricate markings in fire and ice colors over his face, symmetrical over the last seasons of Year 17 (see profile for details). During hunts or raids/sieges, he will smudge them out with black soot to cover the glow, otherwise, they are bright enough to note at first direct glance at his face. Not all his artwork currently portrays the mask markings.
He is also often bedecked in beads, small bells, feathers in blues, ribbons and braids thanks to the Ooze Event of Halloween 2021, and the Coathanger item that he got. The accessories generally are seen most in his mane and tail hair. He removes the brighter items and bells for hunts or battle.

He followed after Ardyn, a grin on his features at the child’s energy and enthusiasm as he blazed a trail ahead of him in the loose crowd. It was time to feast, and as Ardyn bounded past a yearling, Cairo chuckled softly, before realizing he knew the girl.
He stepped up beside Rhaegara with a graceful dip of his head, one of his trademark, easy grins on his features as he greeted, “Hello, Rhaegara, Carlys. How are you two ladies tonight? Enjoying the festival?”
He moved to gather a wealthy, wooden plate, full of choice bits and pieces of meat, cooked and raw, a few interesting fruits and vegetables, and garnishes of herbs that had been used for seasoning instead of healing. He settled beside the wealthy of food, nodding with an encouraging grin at the girl, an invitation to dig in of her own accord as he began to nibble his way through his platter.
He watched with a chuckle as Ardyn went for the first container of liquid, which was clearly alcoholic as Aurielle quickly intervened and redirected the pup. Occasionally, his eyes searched the fire-deepened shadows of the yurts and tents, stalls and shifting, moving figures of late-evening traders and festival goers, but he saw no sign of Lia. She had been coming, right? She’d wanted to attend. Had Sirius held her back to attend to duties?
Idly, he smiled at Rhae, asking, “How have you been?”

Rhae hadn’t noticed Cairo until his voice fluttered through the air, a wide grin spreading her features as she offered a nod of greeting to him. “Cairo! We are doing well. I’ve never seen a festival quite like this.” She started, though she had quickly learned that there were many aspects to Boreas she had never seen before. “It’s quite wonderful.” Carlys chimed in, the bird having remained unusually silent since they had arrived in Boreas. She followed his lead, gathering a wooden plate with pieces of meat, sticking to the raw as she had never had cooked before, along with some fruits and berries.
It felt comforting to see familiar faces, though she also looked forward to meeting some new wolves. “I have been well; I had the opportunity to meet your Spirit shortly after our first meeting. I’ve been exploring, and Carlys and I have been training. We made it out to the battlefield and were able to spar together with someone.” She had been working on her fighting technique though she felt like it was lacking compared to those whom she had encountered. She’d met a few more wolves, and her spar with Sedna she had still lost despite not fighting alone… the other woman hadn’t even been wearing any armor!
“I’ve even considered trying to settle down, find a pack to call home, even if it’s only for a little while.” She was still conflicted about what she wanted to do, if she wanted to try and reclaim her birthright, or more of, reform her tribe here, in these lands, far from the threat that her former tribe presented to her own well-being. “How have you been? How is your recovery going?”
