Fishing is just easier

Kotori had taken up fishing for food lately. Sure, he still tried hunting on occasion but he’d come up empty last three attempts. The sickness was messing with his mind and made it near impossible to focus long enough to catch anything. It was amazing the number of things that could steal his attention and how long it took to come to himself. Kotori wasn’t complaining too much though, he was in far better shape than most. From less disgusting ooze pouring from him as many to the fact no growths were forming on him.

He neared the brackish water along near the sparring ring. He normally used the northern boundary lake but he was curious about the fish in here. Would it be harder or easier to get the fish in here? He stepped into the water, not deep, just so that it slightly lapped up against the paw’s, eyes skimming the water.
