Truly, everyone appeared to know the grass plains were free game to hunt on again.  Kotori snarled as Tove and he found a pack of large dogs through the grass.  A large grey male was the obvious one that had sprouted through the grass near them.  Two more were surely in there, the grass was rustling on either side of the gray.  The other two were likely equally large.

“Wrong time boys.” Kotori lunged in and attacked the grey.  It had a build similar to that of a great dane, not that it would mean anything to either of the wolves.  As Kotori attacked a black mastiff along with a tan bulky hound burst forth from the grass as well.  One went to fight Kotori as well.  

Kotori circled about to keep both dogs in front of him, the grass quickly being flattened under moving paws.  Kotori bit into the rump of the black dog, jumping away from the dane-like dog who tried to bite while he was busy.
The tan hound ran for Tove.


"Kotori Fatalis"

On their trip through the grass plains, Tove and Kotori happen upon a pack of hungry wild dogs. The mangy mutts are not ready to give up their hunting ground and neither are they. A great gray dog stalks forward toward the earthen male and Tove drops back, eyes turning to grass around them.

There is rustling on either side of the gray dog and the older wolf is ready for the dog’s companions. When they appear, Tove rushes to greet the tan hound, her taller body slamming hard into the smaller dog’s frame. With a snarl she strikes out, teeth sinking into its scruff and causing the dog to howl in pain.

It struggles and she plants a paw on its back, growling as she adjusts her grip to hold the dogs head behind its ears. With a savage, sharp jerk and twist, Tove breaks the dog’s neck. Dropping the dead animal, she quickly darts to where Kotori is circling a black dog and the tall dane-like dog, ready to take another one down.


"Tove Baade"

The two dogs kept trying to get on either side of Kotori which had him backing up and circling about to keep them both in the same spot.  After a few circuits more he lunged forward, this time grabbing the throat of the black dog.  Kotori backed up, pulling the other dog with him, refusing to let go of his neck.

When the grey dane-like dog came in Kotori put his body behind the dog he was biting, using it as a shield.  That was the end of worrying about two dogs as Tove was quick to end the life of the one she’d fought and would be able to help with the grey.

Kotori finally let go of the black dog.  Kotori’s grip hadn’t been good enough for a killing blow though it had certainly taken a good bit of blood with all Kotori had used it to pull the dog around.  Trusting Tove to handle the one Kotori charged the black dog, slamming his shoulder’s into the dog, forcing it to back up and lose its balance.

"Kotori Fatalis"

Tove drops the dead dog from her jaws and rushes toward the gray one that tries to get Kotori. As the earthen male fights the black dog, the nebula woman charges the tall gray dog and it turns to face her, teeth snapping at her face as it tries to fight off the woman that has already killed one its own. The dog and wolf snarl and snap at each other, Tove working to push her dog away from Kotori and the hound he faces. She lunges and the dog retreats, the dog charges and she greets it with teeth. She does not glance to where the black dog faces Ko, instead giving her entire focus to the mangy mutt she stands across off.

"Tove Baade"

Kotori doesn’t pay attention to what Tove is doing, trusting her to handle the dog she is against.  His focus is only on the black dog at the moment.  He had just slammed his body into it and the dog had done just what Ko had wanted as it stumbled backward.

Kotori charges in, grabbing the dog's throat once more, shaking his head to stop the dog from having a chance to bite back.  Kotori presses his weight forward, making the dog back up, and as it trips Kotori lets go for a moment.  Kotori leaps up, putting his paws on the black dog's shoulders and this time biting the top of the neck.  Kotori reaps open the neck and then bites into the open wound, biting into the bone and while it doesn’t break the dog does fall down.

Kotor finds himself laying down on the dog.  Another bite to the top of the neck, scraping and then finally cracking the spinal bone and the dog quits struggling.  It whines and Kotori is kind enough to bite the lower part of the throat, ripping it open and spilling the dog's lifeblood.

"Kotori Fatalis"

The dogs and wolves fight, snarls and growls filling the air around them. Kotori handles his dog while Tove keeps the gray one from going to help it companion. Teeth flash and paws slap at each other as the mutt tries to get around the scarred wolf. It receives a strong bite to its muzzle for its efforts and is forced to back up. The older wolf knows that Kotori is a capable fighter and she does not worry that he might need help.

A whine fills the air and a look of alarm crosses her mutt’s features. The momentary distraction is all the scarred nebula woman needs and she lunges forward, slamming her weight into the dog and wrestling it to the ground. She quickly sinks her teeth into the soft flesh of the creature’s throat, ripping it open and ensuring that it will not leave here. Once it is dead, Tove steps away, looking to Kotori with a single raised eyebrow in silent curiosity, asking without words, ‘How did I do?’
