No one had invited the bear.  Admittedly, this time the bear hadn’t made its way to the water, nor was it interested in Kotori or moving in his direction but Kotori didn’t like it.  Well, he just wanted to kill it for the sake of being a good form of entertainment.  Until he had his own pack, this was the best he had for personal entertainment.

Kotori ran towards the bear who had been minding its own business.  When it saw him coming it roared a warning to try and just get Kotori to leave him alone.  Well, that wasn’t going to work.  The giant bear reared up on two legs, aiming to impress with his size.  When that didn’t work it leaned down planning to bite the wolf.

Kotori grinned as the bear’s hulky frame leaned down, leaping up Kotori bit its muzzle, ripping its lip before jogging around behind the bear.  The bear roared in pain, went to all four’s, and spun to try and keep up with the wolf.  There was no doubt Kotori was more nimble than the bear.  Kotori leaped up on top of it but the angle was wrong and he hopped off right away.  The bear swung about again trying to face him and so they circled about again.
Kotori was having fun, the bear was not.

"Kotori Fatalis"

Keahi loves to travel and the position of Diplomat requires that she has knowledge of the lands. While the red wolf has already explored the hot springs, the sulfur infused water still pulls her to this place. The humidity clings to her thin coat like an old friend and the tropical wolf truly feels at home in this hot place. She is laying peacefully by one of the large pools of water, eyes closed and head on her paws as she enjoys the day.

Suddenly a roar forces her eyes to snap open and head to jerk up in the direction of the sound. Nose tests the air and, while the sulfur does mask a lot the smells, Keahi manages to find Kotori’s scent mixed in. Heavying a sigh, the red wolf gathers her paws under her and stands then immediately rushes toward the fight. Truthfully, she enjoys fighting and, when the grizzly comes into view, she can’t help but smile as she spies Ko’s earthen form racing around it.

Keahi races in, biting into one of the back legs and shaking her head viciously. The bear roars in anger and pain, turning to try and swipe at the new challenger but she is already gone. Her red form races away, moving in the opposite direction of Kotori to try and confuse the grizzly even more.

"Keahi Mogotsi"

Kotori is making ready for another attack when Keahi appears and steals the bear's attention.  The first attempt Kotori had made to get on the bear back had been a failure but this time would be different.  The distracted bear had made it far easier.  Kotori leaped up on the bear's back, sinking his teeth into its neck and jerking his head up to rip into the bear's neck skin.

The grizzly had been twisting his head as Keahi had run off as it felt the ripping of its flesh.  Standing up in a rage mixed with pain forced Kotori to hop off.  The wolf didn’t go far though, biting into a leg.  Thanks to Keahi, there were already bite marks on the leg, letting Kotori get his bite more solidly in the already pierced flesh.

"Kotori Fatalis"

Keahi rushes in, capturing the bear’s attention and giving Kotori an opening. It tries to attack her but the red woman dances away, which, unfortunately, allows the grizzly to rid itself of its rider. The tropical wolf moves to rush back in as Ko attacks one of its back legs, not allow the creature time to turn toward the earthen wolf. She lunges up toward the bear’s face to harass it some more, forcing it onto the defensive. It roars, trying to fend off both of the attacking wolves but failing to do so. A meaty paw swings toward her red form and Keahi easily catches it, ripping into the soft pad. Another, painfilled roar fills the air and the red woman is forced to retreat as the bear renews its attacks, an edge of frenzy creeping into the grizzly as the fight continues on.

"Keahi Mogotsi"

Kotori makes use of the bears attention on Keahi.  Moving in he slashes his horns through the bear’s back leg, and even as the bear tries to deal with this new attack Kotori is still running with his new game plan.  He keeps running to get a tight circle around the bear, easily moving faster than the large, inured animal.  Kotori makes it around to the opposite end of the bear, lowering head to slash that leg as well.  Slashing and running was faster than a bite and grip.  Biting was more fun and good for killing blows but there was no doubt bleeding it out and slowing its movement would do its job well.

On top of those reasons, the bears attention was far more intent on the running Kotori than the wolf he had made retreat.  The bear was as good as dead at this point.

"Kotori Fatalis"

Kotori runs circles around the injured grizzly, slashing at various intervals and slowly adding wounds to the towering bear. Keahi knows that this beast is not leaving alive and, instead of letting it bleed out slowly, the tropical woman moves in to end its suffering quickly. As the grizzly attempts to turn and bite at the rushing form of Ko, the red wolf races forward. The numerous cuts and the growing pool of blood tell her that it will not react in time to her approach. She makes it to the side of neck and even launches her body at the thickly furred area where the vital parts lay, before the bear even realizes what is happening.

Teeth bite deep as the bear inadvertently aids the wolf’s endeavor by tossing its head backward. Gravity pulls the red woman back to the ground as the creature’s neck arches back, resulting in blood spraying through the air. Keahi dances backward as the bear stumbles sideways, a dazed, unfocused look in its eyes as the cold fingers of death slowly pull its life away. With a grunt, the massive beast collapses and exhales one last gurgling breath. The tropical wolf turns to Kotori, a smirk on her lips as she moves to join him and have a small talk about attacking bears by himself.
