Ugh. The word was the only thing she had spoke, once outside her tiny fantasy. Oh, who am I kidding? Nobody could have a fantasy in this place. It was stupid, all of it. Every flower, every tree, every bee, every river, every blade of grass. Not to mention, these stupid packs, with their stupid leaders. It was all, 'good leader' this and 'good leader' that. It's all too sappy and disgusting. Croatoan liked her queen days. Those were the best days. But now she's here. I murmured, stretching. If I was leader, every pack would bow down to me, and I would be the leader of the entire world. I finally muttered the song my mother had sung to me, and my older brother before that. Not that I regretted killing him. I had edited the song to perfection. The rivers run red, bodies laying everywhere, but one wolf is not dead. She stands alone, stands alone, throughout the war she had caused. Her snarl is song, her howl is like an angel's song, her bark is like another war starting..... I stopped and shook my head.

His pack was training to go to war. Who would've thought. Valhalla didn't make enemies. Not on purpose at least. It was all that girl Liberty's fault. She probably hadn't meant to do it on purpose, but she should've been more cautious of the wolves that she was hanging around with. If she had been, then Valhalla wouldn't be on the verge of war. There was a very real possibility that some of his family wouldn't come home after the war. That if he went along and marched into battle, that he could possibly not come home. Liberty was still young, but that still wasn't much of an excuse for what she did. But now his family was paying the price for her stupid mistake.

Training with his uncle Syrinx had started the day before and it was a real eye opener. The wolves of Glaciem probably weren't very merciful and under the rule of their ice king, they would probably kill all the Valhallans they came across. He and his people needed to be ready, but he wasn't sure that they would be able to fight with the ruthlessness that his uncle did. A quiet sigh slipped past his silver lips as he moved across the unknown territory. He was a on an island, far from the mainland that was the whole of Alacritis. He needed some time to himself, to gather his thoughts and figure out how he was feeling about this whole thing. It wasn't fair that his family was paying for her mistake. Her mother had died, her understood that, but there were better ways of coping than running off and doing something stupid. A strange scent caught the young Adravendi's attention, cerulean gaze lifting to catch sight of an ebony silhouette in the distance. The wolf smelled female; a rogue. What was another wolf doing out here alone? Pace would come to a halt, gaze fixated on the female, wondering if she would notice him.

A scent hit the air, and my ears stood up; my eyes narrowed and my white teeth showed themselves beneath their black cage. Another pack wolf, stumbling across this land for someone to claim, someone to force into their too large, too noisy pack. Well, if he wanted me, then he'd have to keep looking; I would not join a pack, unless I absolutely needed to. But then, doubt crept into my mind, eating away at the stubbornness. Maybe I could meet him, see how he was; and if he was not the right pack one.... I stood up, turned around, and started towards him, warily, to see if he would attack. I kinda hoped he would; until I saw him, his face, his eyes. I had never been one to be a flirt, maybe a little....at times, but not like this. I moved towards him, brushed against him slightly, then turned around and went to face him. I sat down, and began to speak, trying to choose my words carefully. But it didn't work, not at all.
What's a brute like you doing in a place like this? After all, this water's so cold and you're so......

{Ugh sucky post sorry}

And he didn't have to wait long. A rogue breeze swept in through the area, carrying his scent towards the dark woman, catching her attention. Her violet-blue eyes would rise to meet his own and without hesitation she would begin to move towards him. For a rogue, she was pretty bold coming up to a pack wolf. Gael watched her warily, eyebrows raising with surprise as she disregarded personal space, allowing herself to rub against him before turning around to face him. Nape bristled, frame tensing with unease, lips curling back slightly against pearly daggers, audits flattening against his skull. He wasn't wandering because he was looking for someone. He already had Meili...even if it wasn't official.

What's a brute like you doing in a place like this? After all, this water's so cold and you're so...... Cerulean gems narrowed with distrust towards the younger female. What kind of game was she trying to play? I would ask you the same question. Came his low warning rumble.

I watched as he went through an angry stage, and I kinda had to laugh at his expression. He was bristling, tensing, snarling, and his audits were flattened, but all I could do was laugh. I used my charming laugh, not the razor sharp, edgy laugh that I would use for any other wolf. I smiled at him, tilted my head, and studied him for a moment. I flattened my ears for a moment, trying to look helpless and lonely, but then I realized it wasn't working, so I let my ears come back up and raised my head. I licked my jaws, and tilted my head again, widening my eyes into an odd expression, and then said something to him in a whiny voice, because, truthfully, I wasn't abvove whining to get my way, which I did most of the time. I was a princess, after all. Well, not really, but I SHOULD have been one. Please?

I would ask you the same question. The brute said, and I stared at him in shock, before saying something else.Oh come on. Don't be like that.... I said, and walked by him, using my tail to brush his face.
