The light-toned fae stopped as the scent of pack borders reached her sensors. She took in a deep whiff, and glanced at the rolling territory beyond. Had she made it to the right place? The dark toned wolf had told her that the Alpha of this land was kind and fair. That it was a place she might find herself a home.

There was nothing for it then but to take the plunge. She raised her head skyward and let her song drift to the clouds above. Calling out for the leader here. As her howl fell silent, she shifted herself into a sitting position, ensuring she remained on the correct side of the border as she waited to see who would answer her call.

Things were often hectic during this time of year for those who farmed as Corbie did, but she still took the time occasionally to patrol the lands as her guardians did. She was not a fighter as such, but she was capable, so she put in the same effort to protect the pack. She'd just passed the point that she'd begun the patrol, so had turned in towards pack lands to meander through the apiary with the soft humming bees to look for signs of predation, when a call had come from the border. She immediately turned to answer it. A golden-earthy toned female waited for her there. "Hello," she said immediately, smiling at the stranger. "I am Corbie, alpha of Avalon. What can I do for you?"
