War had been called, and yet in this moment the vixen couldn?t care less. The autumn sun was pushing through the clouds to warm the earth and Narsha was more than content to bask in its warmth. She had left the den and was laying on her side, the babes were suckling happily at her belly. Strange that she felt so safe and content even with the war waging beyond her borders, something that could easily come across their own borders. But none of that mattered, the sun in the sky heating her and the bliss her children brought her. The woman lowered her amber gaze upon the two tiny forms.
Rin squirmed against his brother, Kyung pushed into him, his pure black pelt contrasting with his brother?s earthen coat. Narsha sighed and closed her eyes. She lifted her face towards the sky allowing the sun to wash over her.

It was unseasonably warm day in the north. Quiet and comfortable. Azalea's mind swam with worry, her stomach a tight knot. She didn't have to be in the heart of things to know that forces had gathered and were already long departed. By this time her homeland was being made a battlefield. A graveyard opened up on the doorstep to paradise.

She walked freely through the pack lands, not stupid enough to try and flee but smart enough to know that no one was watching out for her. She had to keep herself distracted, had to convince herself that things would be okay. She wanted nothing more than to be in the swell ripping into her enemies.

A heavy sigh left her as she pushed through the pines, coming to an abrupt halt. "Oh. I'm sorry," Before her was a wolf sprawled on her side, two newborns pushing at each other greedy for their mother's milk. Azalea quickly averted her eyes from the sight, feeling her skin crawl. "I should have been paying more attention to where I was going." She blinked, licking her lips as she did.

There was a stirring in her belly, she was fairly certain it was all her imagination but despite that she found herself looking back toward the she-wolf. She avoided looking at the puppies, training her gaze on the other wolf's face. "You just had them recently? They're Isardis'?" Her questions were cautious and she was careful to ask questions she already knew the answer to.
