For the most part Coran had settled in Valhalla's old lands and from there he went out scouting and regaining familiarity with the lands around his old home. As the season's changed, however, he began to explore more into Auster. There were a number of different prey movements though rarely did anything on four legs migrate across the Bifrost.

The sound of running water caught his attention and as he approached the dammed river he noticed the faded scent of a pack. Strange… he had no idea who it was or where they had gone but he made a mental note in case he should run into anyone here.

Coran took a drink then settled down to eat his lunch. He knew it was going to be a journey and hunting solo could be challenging. He pulled the deer leg closer to himself and began to eat before considering that he could also harvest the sinew. To get at the sinew Coran first had to  open the sheath to get at the tendons. Working through the hide he used his claws to help peel back the tendon sheath and he soon snipped the forked bundle out of the legs.

Amorielle Adravendi

Well, the pack she had joined was no more. Amory had been worried about Noelle, but she knew she would be in good hands. As long as she was safe, that's all that Amory cared about. She made sure her friend was safe and well before inevitably leaving her, and although she and Noelle had been companions since before and after the fall of Valhalla, she simply refused to continue dragging the poor half-blind woman around with her anymore. Noelle deserved somewhere she could settle and be happy, maybe one day find love if that was her thing. As for Amory? It was high time she returned to her family's last known location. She knew they'd be in old Valhallan lands, the Adravendi had lived there for generations after all, and she didn't see her brother going anywhere else. Leaving Noelle behind was bittersweet, but Amory promised she'd visit. The taking of Norad was perhaps a sign that Amory wasn't meant to be there, so she struck out and started to make her way back to Boreas.

The other downside to Norad's fall, was the fact they had to leave all their supplies behind. She had absolutely nothing now, and she'd have to try and at least replenish the basics for travel before Winter set in. She knew she could find most of it in Druids Moor, but what if something happened before she got there? She could hold her own, sure. But...there were a lot of what ifs poking at the back of her mind. Sighing, she got closer to the Dam, the sound of water reaching her ears and she decided she'd stop here to get a drink and some rest. Maybe she'd get lucky and find some of what she needed, but she'd need something to hold it in, first. Even her travel bag had stayed behind...oh well.

With the lemur on her back, she slowly made her way toward the Dam. Her magpie had flown on ahead some time ago to scout and make sure all was well, and so far, she hadn't gotten any word back. She walked in silence as she planned her next move, and it was then that her bird came back, chirping at her as if she'd found something! "Amorielle! Come look what I found!" Without another word, her companion flew back off into the direction she had come. Curious, Amory followed the birds whistling, and before long, she found someone she swore she hadn't seen in ages!

"Corán! An tusa i ndáiríre?" Her wide eyes and sudden stop betrayed that she was surprised to see him. Could it truly be him?

As she was using fresh sinew rather than dried Coran skipped the step of needing to soak them in water. This was easier to him as he could more effectively peel the sheath off the tendons though they would still need to dry. When he came across a few stiffer areas he picked up a stone and dropped it on the tendon sheath to weaken it before he went back to peeling with his teeth. Naturally the tendons wanted to stick to the sheath. He put a paw down on one end and worked to scrape the sheath off so he'd have just the tendons to dry. He moved back and forth from the backstrap, which had made an exceptional lunch, to the ankle tendons.

He listened to the birds chirping and singing as he worked and hadn't quite realized what the magpies cries meant until his sister Amorielle appeared through the grasses. He leapt up in surprise and joy. Tá sé chomh maith tú a fheiceáil! Cén chaoi a bhfuil tú?
