Azalea was on a mission, as usual. She had entrusted her pups to her mother which was likely not the greatest idea. An easy little white lie had her out of Valhalla and on the run. Eyes set on the north, ignoring the unease it set loose on her spine.

Reaching the north was not hard, she was a well traveled wolf but since giving birth had grown lazy. Winded she would investigate the north lands, hoping for some sight of a friend. Liberty to be specific. There was little to no signs though, no familiar scent. Would her friend even smell the same? She was, after all, a Glaciem wolf now. Azalea would settle at the edge of the sea, overlooking the dark blue water that sat far below. Ice surrounded her in brilliant spires. Her auburn head was the only thing that threw her out of place here.

She could make it simple, calling to her friend. Weighing the pros and cons Azalea decided it would make the trip much less of a waste to signal to Lib that she was in the region. Lifting her muzzle she called out, her tones deep and carrying. She could only pray that Isardis would not find her, though what could he do to her that he had not already done?

"Azelea?"Words would almost be masked by the ball of fluff and blood that filled her entire mouth. She had just caught the hare a few moments ago, and as soon as her friends inviting scent caught her attention, she did not stop until she found her. Her call had been an even greater beacon, because it made it a lot easier to pinpoint her position. Luckily she had been hunting within the same territory, because if she had been just a few more miles off, she would have never known Azalea was there. The bloody hare dropped from her mouth as she took another step forward, ignoring her catch for the moment. Her friend was far more important than pleasing Isardis with one hare. "What are you doing here?" She would not ask, but she would demand an answer. This far north was no place for her to be, especially with Isardis lingering only miles away.

"Azelea?" The tone was muffled and stuck fear in the girl as she turned to see who spoke. Her relief obvious as she saw it was just Liberty, a rabbit in her mouth to block her words. In this land of whites and blues and grey, it was the blood that first grabbed Azalea's amber gaze. Eyes locking on the limp body and the blood that clung to Liberty's mouth. "What are you doing here?"

It was the not the first time that question had been sounded from Liberty's lips. Azalea seemed fairly talented at striking alarm into the tri shaded wolf. She stood, on edge. The distance between the two, for Azalea, was charged with tension. "I had come to see you but its still in debate as to if you are still friend or if you've turned foe. You seem to have become... comfortable with your new pack." Azalea's tone was chipped in ice.

She would side step, giving Liberty a view of her midsection. "I had two, boys. I have yet to love them but I do my best for them." Her eyes would watch Liberty closely, waiting to see how the former Valhallan would react.

She could feel the tension her friend felt, and it greatly bothered her. Whither she was a Glaciem or a Valhallen she would always stay true to her friend, didn't Azalea know that? Charcoal ears pinned flat against her skull as she listened to her friend, leaving only a few seconds gap before she would reply. "If you doubt my loyalty to you Azalea, then I question our friendship." Acidic tones would be followed by a disapproving frown as Liberty kept her eyes on the ivory girl. She watched her side step to give Liberty a better look at her stomach, and when she realized there was no longer a bulge, she put two and two together: Azalea had had her babies. Shortly after coming to that conclusion Azalea would confirm her suspicious. Her right brow raised as her lips curled into a soft smile. "Looking sexier than ever I see?" She would say softly, a chuckle chasing her words. She didn't want to lose her friend, and hopefully she wouldn't. Azalea just had to trust her.

"If you doubt my loyalty to you Azalea, then I question our friendship." Her friend's words were quick and deadly. Both wolves pinned their ears, watching the other. Azalea gently rolled her eyes, casting her gaze away in an arrogant flourish. Dramatic as always. She would snort lightly, a wicked look on her face. "Hmph. Isardis gave me plenty of reasons to be distrustful, you should know or do I have to name them?"

Azalea's next words left Liberty looking right where she had wanted. To her surprise though, Liberty took on a good-natured expression, a smile even appearing. "Looking sexier than ever I see?" Azalea licked her lips, hind end now following her front half in that side step so that she could firmly plant her hind end behind her. "Sure." Though Azalea could see that Lib was trying, Azalea found the joke unamusing and could not muster a smile. "If that's what cows are these days... sexy."

Even as she spoke her words were warming, losing the frost of the north. "What are you doing? Why do you play these games? Why not come home?" Fire met water as their gazes locked and Azalea weakened after a moment of silence. Smiling lighting her face, "You could be a babysitter!" Even if she was unsure what side Liberty was playing for, she knew she was a wolf that she could trust with her puppies.

"They just opened their eyes... there will be no containing them soon." Azalea frowned though she was more than excited to be nearing the end of the dreaded nursing. "I can't stay long... I have to get back to them. No one knows I'm here. You won't speak of them to Isardis?" Why did she even have to ask?

"Hmph. Isardis gave me plenty of reasons to be distrustful, you should know or do I have to name them?" "I am not Isardis." She would hastily reply, leaving only a seconds gap between their words. She had done nothing to hurt her friend, and despite being under Isardis's rule she would never do so. She didn't have a reason to. "I'm still Liberty Sovari, don't forget that." She would add before the subject was changed.

Though her friend seemed to think her joke wasn't funny, the ivory gals ebony lips tweaking into a smile. "Cows are very sexy, in fact, looking like one is the newest trend. The pink trend just went out of fashion." She would add, obviously referring to Isardis while trying to make a joke that would continue to lighten her friends mood. She didn't want her to be on edge around her, she was her friend, not her enemy.

"What are you doing? Why do you play these games? Why not come home?" A sigh would leave her lips, charcoal tiara tilting as she looked away momentarily. Didn't she understand that she wasn't coming back? She couldn't now even if she wanted to. "You could be a babysitter!" "I'm afraid you will have to hire someone else. I won't be returning home." She would say, lips creasing into a frown. "I couldn't come back even if I wanted to, Azalea. I'm too deep in to leave, my grave has already been dug." She would add, and she could only hope that Azalea would understand. As badly as Valhalla probably needed, or wanted her to come home, she would not. She belonged to Glaciem now, and it would stay that way.

"They just opened their eyes... there will be no containing them soon." Her lips could crease back into a warm smile, the thoughts of Azaleas babies opening their eyes sending a warm sensation through out her entire body. For a moment her mind drifted toward what it might be like if she were a mother right now, but her thoughts changed when Azalea spoke again. The reality of the children being Isardis's made her stomach churn, because that meant he was not done with Azalea. He had impregnated her for a purpose. "I won't breathe a word. I already planned on washing your scent off me in the river, along with catching another snack to splash the blood on me. I don't want him knowing I ever saw you." She would respond, already a few steps ahead of her friend.

'I want to meet them. I don't know when or how we will plan it, but I do." Her gaze would remain fixed on Azalea, charcoal tail wrapping around cold toes as she kept the conversation going. She didn't want her to leave, but she knew she had to, so she would utilize every second they had together. She didn't know when she would see her again, and even now she was the only true friend she had. "What are their names?" She would add before pausing, waiting for her friend to do or say as she wished.

"I am not Isardis." Azalea knew that didn't she? Right now she wasn't sure with how cozy her friend was getting with the enemy. Yet Azalea knew very well how foolish she was being to suggest that Liberty was going rogue. Clearly she wasn't. "I'm still Liberty Sovari, don't forget that."

"Cows are very sexy, in fact, looking like one is the newest trend. The pink trend just went out of fashion." Azalea still couldn't find the cow joke funny but still she had to brighten a bit at the pink note. Yes, pink wolves were very much out of style.

"I couldn't come back even if I wanted to, Azalea. I'm too deep in to leave, my grave has already been dug." She sighed, a huff of a noise. At least Liberty saw it for what it was. If Isardis discovered they had been talking, who knew what he might do. If she ever decided to leave... blood would be involved.

"I won't breathe a word. I already planned on washing your scent off me in the river, along with catching another snack to splash the blood on me. I don't want him knowing I ever saw you." Her friend seemed warmed to hear of the puppies, growing healthy and strong. 'I want to meet them. I don't know when or how we will plan it, but I do." Azalea nodded, not saying anything. Of course Liberty was still her friend, of course Azalea was being difficult. She was easing now, letting her worries slide as she remembered what it was like to be around a good friend.

"What are their names?" It was clear that Liberty wanted to hold up the conversation while she could and Azalea smiled lightly now. "Soren and Kismet. Soren is half black and half white, well not entirely black, the color of Isardis's son, Taurig. And then Kismet is a tan and white, his face is colored just like mine and then opposite paws."
