The giantess padded amongst the grasses, which only came half way up her long, ebony stained legs. Dainty cranium held low, her large, ivory lined audits pivoted back and forth to capture the sounds of prey. The lanky creature was by no means ugly, however. She was in fact quite beautiful; her pelt was a fiery red orange, covering a feminine frame with extremely long legs that are by no means gawky or mismatched, stained a beautiful ebony. Her short tail, reaching only to her hocks, was almost completely stained in ivory. Violet orbs looked out from a perch upon angular cheekbones, her face itself dainty and regal. True to the name, an ebony mane started at the base of her skull and ended just beyond her petite shoulders. At first glance one would call the foreigner strange, but once you got to know her, you could see just how wonderful the creature was.

The familiar slithering of her favourite prey caught her attention, and with a swift lick of her lips, she lifted her front paws off the ground, tucked them to her chest, and launched herself high into the air like a fox in deep snow. At the crest of her leap she stretched out her soot cloaked front legs and landed with her tea cupped paws upon the grey brown snake. The long spine snapped under the force, and she began to tear the snake apart with her delicate jaws and snap up the bite sized pieces.

The boulders would make a perfect lean-to for an animal. And in this particular case, it made an excellent lean-to for a wandering rogue. His journey would continue, still with no inkling on what he was searching for. Instinct would drive his migration. And that migration would continue and continue and continue until his blood told him to stop. Having traveled for miles, the rogue was starting to tread dangerously close to marked territory. He had to constantly be vigilant and alert, making sure that every step he took would not be an endangerment. Resting was starting to become exhausting... For if he relaxed even a centimeter too close to marked territory, surely he would be found. And all the wolf wanted to do was continue his search for it. No distractions.

He had discovered a vast plain, littered with boulders and tall grass. It would do well in disguising him from passersby. It was here that he would find the time to sleep. And that was exactly what he was doing on this particularly low afternoon: napping. The sun was high, and his dark pelt would surely attract it, thus the wolf wallowed in its warmth. It felt good. He felt at ease.

Until he heard a stirring in the grass... His napping quickly ceased, and the brute immediately sat up, ears attuned to the rustle in the grass. Whatever it was, its steps were light, almost cat-like. It was stalking something... Neju rose on all fours, head low and ears pricked towards the sound. He would be cautious, for if it was another wolf (rogue or packmate), trouble was the last thing he was looking for.
But what met his curious gaze was an animal he had never seen before. It was a canine. But like no canine Neju had ever seen. Was it even wolf?

He lifted his head to catch a better view. And as he did, the creature whirled up in the air and came crashing down on something. The smell of blood immediately filled the atmosphere. It was a hunter, skilled and stealthy; this peaked the wolf's curiosity even more. So he took a step out from his hiding spot, presenting himself to the animal. His scent would probably be masked by the pungent odor of fresh blood, so he would speak and announce himself to this creature.

?G'Afternoon, stranger.? His voice was rich, deep and warm. ?Is it... dead??He asked, nodding towards her feast. Duh. Of course it was dead. But small talk was not one of Neju's fortes.

She was disturbed from her feasting by a voice before her, looking up with a mouthful of snake, the giantess was confronted by a stranger with a pelt of ebony. A polite smile would reveal the tip of her prey's tail peeking from between her formidable canines. Realizing how impolite that was, she quickly swallowed the food and threw the man a sheepish grin. "Hmm...?" She asked, then turned her gaze to where he gestured, her nearly finished meal, she offered him a nod. "Hola senor, yes it is dead. Would you like some?" She asked calmly, licking morsels from her onyx stained lips. It was only polite to offer, and she could hear a few more rustling in the grasses anyways, if ever she was in need of more. Her dainty cranium tilted to the side quizzically as she waited for a reply, her violet orbs trained upon the male's own.

OOC: Sorry for crapness!!
