She had never truly had a den of her own. always sleeping out in the open as she was used to. It didn't bother her much, she loved to see the stars twinkle above her head. But the past few nights and days even the skies had been covered in grey clouds. They grew in mass, darkened in color and bought worth a wind she had never experienced till today. It howled, whipped and lashed at her body, threatened to tug and beat her every which way it wanted. The rain was no help either. It stung her body as it pelted down at the earth. She could have sworn she saw it bounce up from the ground it was raining so hard. Head lifted to try and get away from the rain coming up at her from the mudding ground, pale green eyes narrowed to slits, just about closed. The thunder was deafening, making her ears pinned back against her skull. And yet through it all the earth colored girl was not frightened. She could only think about where to find Squall and then the rest of the pack.

She did not run, did not panic but trudged on, marching through the hell storm. She vaguely remembered where Squall's den was, only thing was she was on the other side of the territory! She growled the determination though. She had to find him. At one point she thought she heard a howl from somewhere. But she couldn't tell where or if it was just the wind. Trees were ripped from the soil right before her eyes, making her shy away and run clear of branches and debris. But she was not quick enough to go unscratched. She winced as tree bits bit into her flanks and into her paw pads. Shaking out her soaked body she threw her head back and let out the loudest, strongest howl she could muster from her body. Hopefully he would hear her, or someone at least. She stood as still as she would, waiting, listening for any sign someone else was near by.

It was everywhere! Wind, rain, lightning, thunder, the howling of the winds! It panicked the female, causing her to dart from her den by the lake as it began to fill with water. Her heart pounded in her chest, the fear she exhilarated was soon to give her a panic attack if she didn't find safety and solace soon, something to hide her from the destruction that rained around her. She could hear the creaking of trees, the pelting of rain drops bouncing off the ground that was muddied and slippery with the soaking the Earth was receiving today. She would lose her footing after several yards, slipping into the mud and dirtying her coat. Pulling herself up again, she would continue her headlong run into the forest. She wasn't keen on going to the barn, knowing she would have to race across open ground to get there...and that she did not want to do.

Thunder and lightning crashed all around her, the trees swaying, ears flattened to her head as she dodged debris and flying junk. One branch flew her way from the force of the winds, hitting her across the face and knocking her to the ground. She breathed hard, shaking her head to try and clear the dazed feeling she had. Her head was throbbing, aching with each beat of her heart as she tried to stand. A heart stopping sound flashed through her sense of hearing, a bolt of lightning striking at a tree just behind her. The woman whipped her head around in time to see it falling towards it, and with wide eyed horror she watched it fall. It wasn't until the last second she managed top push her body into action, moving from the path of the trunk.

Everything crashed around her, darkness surrounding her vision as the world outside was blocked out. Everything fell silent for a few moments, the ringing in her ears ceasing after a short time. When she opened her eyes, she realized she was trapped within the branches and foliage of the fallen tree, stuck beneath a tangle of splintered wood and the weight of the earth below. She tried to move, but her body was immobile, hardly able to move even an inch. Panicked, she struggled, but it only pressed the sharper branches into her sides and causing her to gasp from the pain and bite her lip. She saw a gap through the leaves, the rain outside dulled but barely visible. She wondered if anyone would be able to hear her out here...it was worth a try right? "Help! Someone, please! Help me!"

She heard the groan and moan, the sound of something huge being slowly ripped from the earth. She spun around to watch as a tree was uprooted and come crashing down. It all happened in slow motion. She watched as it had started to lean, back it didn't sway back in place but kept tilting to one side. Roots buried deep below would surface as the tree cried in agony. And just before it crashed down she saw someone there in it's path. Alarm coursed down her spine as she tried to call out a warning. But her voice was no match against the wind and the falling tree at her distance. Debris flew up into the air and her head turned to tuck away from being hit in the face. It felt like the whole earth was falling apart around her. She had to find Squall, but she had to see if the other had made it clear from the tree.

Green eyes turned back, wide with worry. She stood there like a deer catch in headlights till she heard a voice cry out. She shook her head violently before paws raced to the voice. She slowed to a walk once she was at the tree, nose to the ground to pinpoint exactly where her packmate was. "Hang on, i'll get you out. Are you hurt?" She called out to the fence of branches. There! She could smell the other, female. She pushed right into the tree, clawing and snapping her jaws at the branches that stood in the way. It was important she hurry, her pack mate could be injured and the sooner she got out the better. Paw pads bled from the many splinters and cuts, lips cracked, sore, swollen. But the pain could not be felt. She pushed it to the back of her mind, hurrying the best she could. But she was mindful of which branches to attack. She didn't need to remove a branch if it would shift the weight on the other. As she slowly came closer she could see the other female. She couldn't remember her name, only that she was indeed Seracian. She looked at the tree ontop of the female and frowned. If she removed anyone she feared the weight of the tree would be completely on the other female, and surely kill her."I need to dig in the mug, a trench for you to slide and crawl out of. She said.

She would worm her way in and start to claw and dig into the mud and dirt around the grey female. She hissed under her breath as the splinters grew deeper into her paws but the cold mud was a slight relief on them. She pushed and pulled at the mud, scooting backwards to push it out of the way. Her thin frame feeling every ache of the work. Naturally she was not built to be strong but swift and sure-footed. Her shoulders and back would take the brute of all the work but not one sound, not even a grunt was uttered from her. She just remained focused on her task. Slowly but surely she had a small trench from Pacifica to out from under the tree."Try slowly sliding forwards, see if you can move." She said and moved to the left of the trench she made, pressing into the branches and debris to make room.
