It had been a while. The male traversed through the trees of the summer season, the scents intermingled all around him. He had not seen his family in nearly a season, but it was partially due to the fact that he had gone in search of the family that was still missing. Pulsus, Twig, Angel, Divinity...he missed them all. Did they miss him? What had they been up to in the time he had left again? He was so protective of his family, he would do anything for them to keep them safe. He had an overwhelming feeling of dread when he was walking away, farther and farther, the feeling had grown worse. And upon return, the closer he got, it had returned and he knew something was not right. What it could be, he was not sure. He just hoped it wasn't bad...Twig had always been independent, never one to really think about being with others. Angel had always been the shy one, afraid to mingle with the unknown. Divinity and Pulsus? He hadn't really gotten to know them...Pulsus he hadn't even known existed until recently, and Divinity was often quiet around company. He would make sure to reunite with them, learn about them, be there for them. It was unlike him to leave them alone for so long, especially with Lunatik on the loose...he had no idea where his crazed brother might be, but he knew he was lurking somewhere out there... A dull thud could be heard nearby, a brief turn of his head and his eyes would spot an apple that had fallen nearby. Interest piqued him, and the male moved forth towards the fallen fruit. It was a decently large apple, bright red, a bit of juice dripping from the side from where it had hit the ground. With a swipe of his lips, the male lowered himself onto his belly, forepaws coming on both sides of the apple before he reached forward to take a bite. As he did not eat meat, he settled for fruits and berries. Sometimes fish. To eat an apple was always a treat for him, and so he ate it in enjoyment. The afternoon sun bearing down on his hind end as the rest of him rested in the shade of the apple tree. "Speech"

She had been wandering, ever since the encounters with her father she had been restless. Wandering here and there. This place had drawn her attention, its sweet smell amplified by the summ heat. Russet bodice weaved amongst the trees ripe with fruit, now and then she would stop to taste something that had fallen and had it been unlike anything she had ever tasted. But as she ventured further and further, the scent of another slowly began to mingle within the scent of fruit. A small bark would echo from her lips, alerting the stranger to her presence before she approached. Sliding from between the trees a strangely marked wolf would enter her line of vision. She would stop several feet away, not sure if this wolf was friend or foe. "Hello." She offered a friendly greeting with a small smile, assessing the man carefully. Talk like this

The apple crunched between his teeth, the sweet juice sliding down his tongue as he continued to finish off the treat he had found. It was not uncommon for him to eat fruits. His family didn't know this part of him, of course. As he always kept it hidden from the fact. He did not eat meat, he didn't believe in it. Unsure as to why, but perhaps it had something to do when he was a child. As he ate the last of the remains, leaving the core and the seeds, ears would flick upwards as he was alerted to the sound of an unfamiliar approach. Clear blue eyes raised to see a reddish figure before him, several feet away and with a kindness upon her features. "Hello." He straightened himself out into a sitting position, an equally friendly yet slightly guarded disposition showing upon his own face. Black tipped ears leaned forward, stripes upon his back rippling for a brief moment as she shook away the flies that tried to settle upon him. He gazed toward her, remaining calm yet ready in case something happened. He knew not who this stranger was, and he had not the time to learn about many in these lands. He was always on guard. "Hello there, nice day for a walk I presume?" "Speech"

The man would turn towards her, pulling himself into a sitting position. He seemed friendly, though guarded like herself. He spoke kindly, no really hint of hostility. As a he spoke, a shrug would lift her shoulders, a smirk playing on russet lips. "If it wasn't so damn hot, it'd be even better." Her tail would sway behind her, her gazing leaving him only a moment to check out the different fruit trees that surrounded him. She had never been surrounded by so many trees that held so many sweet treats. She didn't even know what all of them were, which ones were good, which ones weren't. Idly she wondered if he had any idea. He must for he was munching on a piece of fruit when she arrived. "I'm Sibelle." She offered her name, hoping to get him to relax some so that she could relax. So long as he kept his guard up openly, she would do the same. Her weight would shift before haunches dropped within the shade of a tree. Shade, it brought such relief from the raging heat.
