He had been swept into the waters shortly after the quakes, lost at sea for an unknown time after being thrown onto the beaches of an unknown island. Mako had somehow made it back to the mainland, though not by choice. For he was caught in the middle of a rogue storm, and once again the small timid male had found himself in yet another spot of trouble. Why did life treat him in such a way? Was he so hated and determined for misery that even life wanted him dead? He lied there, weak and cold from the waters he had barely dragged himself from. The Kamui Delta had been relentless with it's hold on him, unwilling to relinquish its helpless victim. But alas, he had managed to claw his way out of its grasp, the boy gasping for air as water expelled from his lungs.

He had pulled himself onto the damp bank, curled up in a ball of sodden fur as his skinny frame shivered violently. He knew not how to hunt, and due to such a pitiful lack of knowledge, lacked the nutrition one of his age and stature needed. Although it was not new to him, for he mostly managed on carrion and left overs from other predators. Now, however, he had not eaten in several days, and his strength was near depletion. He had not been in this part of Alacritia before, and so wondered if he was still on the same continent.

Tankyu-Sha had faired well in the earth-quake despite her size. The dog wagged her tail as she stomped through the water, things were getting better as of late. She didn't feel too awkward around the wolves of ludicael. Considering Alacritis was infested with wolves, she felt she needed to get used to it anyway. Then the gods perhaps would welcome her with open arms, and everything would be okay. The brindled dog trotted along, but her body stopped when she spotted a wolf. Her ears perked, and neon pink eyes scanned for possible places to hide or run away if needed. You never knew when someone evil would come your way, she wasn't exactly big enough to fight.
Though, he suddenly seemed sick, making her curious. He looked, skinny, emaciated, bringing her to slight alarm. Her head turned to see a lonely pheasant walking near them. The bird probably disorientated from the quake, she was quickly able to hunt it down. It wasn't much but it was plenty for a single wolf, she didn't need to eat. Hopping up to him she dropped the bird in front of him. Wagging her tail she crouched looking up at him sadly to seem less threatening. Nudging the food with her nose for him to eat.
