He was an Alpha now, a big boy and all grown up. He had claimed lands rather close to his grandparents, and he was unsure if they had heard his calls a few days before. He wished to see them though, to tell them all about it and to ally with his family. His head and tail was held high as he made the short walk to Ludicael's territory, being sure not to just march over the borders. Even though they were family, he was not just another Destruction anymore, he was an Alpha. So he paused at their strong markers, tipping back his head and calling for Novel and Dutiron by name, his dearest grandparents.

Bass sat himself upon the earth as he waited, curling his white tail over paws as he waited. His body seemed to hum with anticipation, he wondered what they would think of all of this. Yes he was young, but he was ready for it. He already had two of his sisters with him in his pack, their numbers growing so quickly. He was proud, and he was loud.

The call at the borders was one very familiar to the man. Having watched them grow up his grandchildren through Lyric and Darilnor were certainly the ones that the man was closest to. He hoped to change that, or rather build relationships just as strong with his other grandchildren though so far not all had taken quite so kindly to he and Novel.

He would reach the border first and sure enough there was Bass sat waiting for them. He had the right idea on how to approach a pack it seemed, though Harmony had learnt from her mistakes, dealing with guilt for a few days before she had confronted him about it. Not that he personally had really minded, his grandchildren were certainly welcome to visit when they pleased, he had learnt from Harmony that the majority of them were apparently here in Alacritia, the visit wasn't much of a surprise yet. "Hello there Bass." Dutiron greeted warmly.

She would follow after Dutiron as they heard the call of their dear grandchild. One of the few they had watch grow from birth. She'd had suspicions she would hear from him in the coming days, after hearing his familiar howl only miles away. She had to guess he had found himself. He was grown and he had stepped up and taken on the responsibility of an adult. Could he handle such stresses? Song had been put to the test as well as she and Dutiron. She would only hope that he was as ready for a pack as he thought.
Of course, he would always have his family to help him in whatever means necessary. He was their grandchild, and they would do whatever it took to keep him from failure or pain. She trusted him though, he was a good boy and had a good head on his shoulders.
Paws would carry the pair to where he would sit patiently on the border, she would wag her tail in greeting as they approached. "It's good to see you grandson." She would smile as her haunches coiled beneath her. She couldn't wait to hear what he would say.

His wait wasn't long, soon both his grandparents appeared at their border. Standing up, he bent over and nuzzled his Nana before leaning over and doing the same to his Papa. He loved his grandparents, with all his heart. Regaining his composure he once again found his seat, clearing his throat to try and put away those childish feelings that welled within him. He was an Alpha, and he needed to know that Ludicael would be behind him as not just family, but as a whole pack.

"Hallo Nana and Papa, I come to you as Azat of Abaven. I have made our home close by, claiming the Serpent Plains and the Monument Rapids." Pride welled within him, his chest puffing up as he went on. "We are a pack made up mostly of highly trained guards, who will be able to be let out to other packs in a trade for a favor. They will be put through training before this can happen, to ensure the safety of your pack as well as others. You can use these guards how you see fit, they will have to follow the rules while in your pack. You can use them to guard pups or anyone you feel is in danger. In times of trouble, they will be able to lend a hand." Taking a deep breath after his long winded speech, he looked from face to face to see what they thought of it. "We will also hold and guard any prisoners of war or wrong doers."

Bass's pale tail thumped upon the landscape when he took a break, his golden eyes bright as he waited for their thoughts. He made sure to make his pack close to them, wanting the comfort of Ludicael at their back.

So close to their own lands they had of course caught Bass's call though certainly hadn't really questioned it too much. Even now as it became official the news would somewhat shock the man. Of course Novel had been young when she had first stepped up to the position of alpha, and then dragging him to the position with her. Even so as much as they hated to hear it, it was hard to think of him as all grown up, he was nearing two of course though it didn't make it any easier for the man. He wouldn't comment though and would listen in silence as his grandson spoke.

A smile would be well hidden as he spoke in more detail about his pack, the comment of highly trained guards certainly tickled him slightly. He would remain composed, the emotion wouldn't show on the outside, though inside there was a part of him that felt it was a little ambitious to think of Bass as 'highly trained'. After the experience with Song none in Ahlon had ever been trained so much, a child cast aside in that regime, Lyric had made sure that the same would not happen with her own children. The learning was always encouraged though certainly not in a pressured situation. Dutiron had once unexpectedly been given the opportunity to lead though and so would not question it, instead give the boy a chance and simply be glad that Bass had located Abaven close to Ludicael so contact and assistance could easily continue between the two packs.

Allowing the boy to keep up his alpha appearances rather than the grandchild of Novel and Dutiron, the man would stick to a formal manner. "Well then Azat Bass, what is it you come to us for today?" The words were spoken with a small smile one that was certainly intended to show this time, compassion and pride for the grandson before him now.
