Anger, the one word that described how she felt. Maija Artenie was not in the best of moods, but then again, when was she ever? The happiness of her finding a home with Sibelle and making it a firm foundation for her children was hiding somewhere and she didn't care where it had gone. Instead, she let the feeling consume her like the plague and with it doing so, she had to leave the lands for a bit. Her anger would not be seen by her pack members, not when she was so new to the title.
The reason why she was so angry was one person and three words: Pandora. Selene. Artenie. The young girl was getting in trouble and playing it off like it was nothing. She was getting aggravated of hearing things regarding her daughter, but she prayed to whatever god was working her child's strings that the badness would stop. The worst was when she heard that Pandora was caught trespassing on Covari territory. Even though they had selective access to Viridiana's pack, it still unnerved her to know that Pandora thought she was slick. Where did this young girl get her ideas from? Certainly not her mother!
With a low growl, Maija had disappeared for an hour or two, just to deal with her emotions and not cause a scene. Sibelle knew that she would be out and about, only to return when she blew off steam. Her golden paws came across a plateau of various items, none of which she was familiar with. As she stood on the level ground, her eyes took in what she had ignored in the first place. Evidence of a war long ago ended was seen all around her, stretching out in front of her like the ocean when she stood on the beach. Everything was all new to her, and her leaf green eyes betrayed her emotions for once. The anger she had building up inside of her radiated in her gaze and she felt it move through her body as she angrily raced towards the nearest war piece: a helmet.
She saw her reflection in it, something she only saw when looking at the smooth surface of a stream or pond. Her ears flattened against her skull and she growled herself, teeth baring back at her and shining in the winter sun. She reached out and swiped it with her front paw, making it spin and fly into the air before landing in another random place. The power behind the effort was rewarding and before long, Maija was involved in a game of "Hit the Helmet". She approached it after each toss, making sure to step over the debris that would potentially harm her. With each hit, she felt better and the snarl was replaced with a rare grin. Every now and then, it felt good to have her walls taken down...but only rarely.

Helios

The man had one person in mind, someone he hoped to find. The older man he had once bumped into had offered him sound advice after all and he knew that he could use a friend, even when surrounded by family on all sides. Sometimes someone who wasn?t part of the group could offer a more? objective view of things.
As russet paws carried him across the familiar landscape he kept his hopes up that Conall might be there, though he knew it was unlikely. Red orbs scanned the horizon and he felt a slight jolt as he began to see the strange objects once more littering the landscape. They were strange, and shining and altogether foreboding. Helios was not too keen to stumble upon many of them; they all looked much too dangerous.
An unfamiliar scent assailed his senses and for a moment he felt a slight panic kick up inside him. The man pushed it down though, he had little to fear, and this was more so confirmed when he laid eyes upon the woman. Paws batting at a strange rounded item. He cleared his throat rather loudly, averting his gaze as he did so.

Maija had been wrapped up in the game she invented that she didn't realize she had company. The scent of the male only came after he had cleared his throat, and she froze in place. Her paw was in midair, intending to come down and hit the helmet again, but she corrected herself and her walls immediately rose. The fun she was having disappeared from her face, thankfully hidden by her back being towards him. Leaf green eyes retained their glassy composure and slowly she turned with flattening ears.
She was always prone to bare her teeth and show off her defenses, but since having children and becoming Arcanum's Secondary, Maija had to give up certain habits. If she needed to prove her point about being left alone, then she would have no problem returning to those old ways of life. For now, she merely turned herself all the way around, eyes burning into the male's deep set of browns. Her crown rose and she stood as tall as she could, expression solemn and guards remaining up. "Yes?" she asked, the one word heavy with her Romanian accent. Muscles automatically tensed beneath her thick, golden coat, but she made no intention to move from her spot.

As the woman swung around he was made aware of a few more things about her, for one she was only a few years younger than he was though at seeing her play he had suspected her to be a yearling at most. Second, she did not seem all that impressed. The male immediately dropped his gaze some, not too eager to possibly incite the woman. Though he did feel some amusement at her response he pushed it down.
?Sorry, just thought you might prefer to know that someone had stumbled upon you?re- ah you.? He corrected himself quickly, changing his mind mid-sentence.

Maija's tail slowly rose to curl over her hind legs, golden plumage radiating in the nearby sun. She kept her domineering position, lips remaining rigid and free of positive vibes. The male then spoke, explaining that he had wanted to make his presence known. He was considerate, not wanting to surprise her and have her think he was spying. Well, well, well...maybe not all men were douchebags after all.
Her nose silently worked as she tried to figure out where he had come from. His scent was definitely unfamiliar, but smelled of a pack. Perhaps he was a part of one of their allies, she could not be sure. Instead of relaxing to her haunches, she took a couple of steps forward, stepping over the helmet now forgotten on the grass. "Who are you?" she bluntly asked, green eyes showing a sliver of curiosity.

Helios

Helios watched her with calculated wariness and yet he kept himself appearing calm, allowing not even the shift in her demeanor scratch the surface of his own mask. It did not occur him that the golden woman might be hesitant of a strange male, but then Helios had never thought himself a threat to anyone, not really. He had never once thought to take advantage of a woman, even when he had met Natalya he had always respected her rights to comfort and safety.
There was a glimmer of something in her eyes as she stepped towards him, words dripping from her lips. ?Helios Olympus, Consul of the Olympus kingdom.? He spoke evenly eyeing the golden women. ?And you might you be dear lady??
