Her children had grown so fast. They were now dying to explore and get out the den. Spring had rolled around, warming the weather enough that she was comfortable with her kids going out and playing. She would wake within the confines of their den, smiling down at her sleeping children before nudging Ares. "Wake up my love, lets take the kids out." She would murmur softly against his ear, placing a gentle kiss on his cheek. Things had mellowed out greatly since the birth when Artemis arrived and Katja chased her off. There was no doubt in her mind that the pale wench would return. "I also have something I would like to talk to you about." A smile played on her lips, excitement danced her dual colored eyes before she rose. Nudging her children and placing a kiss on both their heads she would wake them. "Come on you two, lets go outside." Her lean body would stretch, waking stiff muscles before she slipped out of the den.

She would wait for her family patiently. Sitting outside the den, her gaze would drift, the lake would still be cold, to cold to play in, but most of the snow had melted and plants were starting to grow again. Tattered ears swiveled, listening to the sounds of her family waking. Her tail thumped idly against the ground as she thought about what she needed to tell Ares. Crucifix hadn't yet called, but the kids were old enough to travel. She refused to consider going rogue, that would leave them exposed to Artemis. Perhaps they could go check out other packs? She wanted a back up incase Crucifix didn't pull through.

"Speech"

The boy was awoken ever so gently by his mother, her voice cooing at him, softly pulling him from the fog of dream. Brilliant blues blinked open once, then twice clearing the sleep that clung to the last vestiges of his consciousness. The boy would lay unmoving for a moment, then ever so gently would roll over and gaze at his sister. Daitaro softly prodded at the girl, whispering ever so quietly. "Phim." A single word, he needn't say anymore, not when his mother had already said so much for him.

Then the boy would rise to his paws, stretching slightly as he did so and padding slowly after his mother, for the very first time into the world outside the den. The child had certainly wondered what was beyond the portal, but his parent's assurance that he needn't worry had been enough for the boy and he had never thought to challenge it. Now as he laid eyes upon the world for the first time he remained silent, though his eyes were wide as he stared in wonder at all that surrounded him.

Her dream tempted her to stay asleep, but the child could not ignore the coo of her mother's voice. She whined quietly and she struggled to open her eyes, only finally cracking them when her brother coaxed her awake. Slowly she rose to her feet and stumbled over her over-sized feet as she followed close behind him on their way out of the den. She yawned loudly upon emerging into the sun and allowed her lids to fall the rest of the way open, exposing her familiar verdant eyes. Phim gazed quietly at their surroundings as she sought her father's side, but her eyes quickly focused on her mother and excitement sparkled within them.


"Mother, what are we going to do today? Are we exploring?"

Phim's brother, Daitaro, is allowed to crash literally all of her threads.

He would feel the gentle nuzzle of his mate, the spring air quickly filling his lungs as he let himself arise from sleep. He would lean into her kisses and they would help to stir him from slumber, words were sweet as he enjoyed the idea of bringing the children to meet the world around them. While they explored he would talk to Devya, about what he would wonder as he leaned up to kiss her back rolling onto his feet as she moved to wake their children. He would let Devya take the lead, waiting for both children to exit before taking up the rear. Dai would be first, quickly turning to make sure Phim was awake and ready to also leave the den. He would nuzzle his daughter encouragingly, and would follow them out to where Devya stood. He couldn't help but smile at the look upon their faces, so bright and excited as they took in their surroundings. "Welcome to the World, Loves." ""

Her children would rise slowly and emerge from the den, hesitantly at first, but with Ares encouraging them, they would both leave behind the comfort of their den. She would smile, watching both of them closely before muzzle Ares gently. "Good morning, love." She would murmur gently into his pale audits, tongue snaking out a caress the triangular piece of flesh. "Go explore you two, but don't go into the water, its still to cold." She would encourage them, warning them lightly before returning her attention to Ares. Though happiness was clearly written all over her face, she took on a more serious tone. "I met someone the other day, his name is Crucifix." She would begin, pausing slightly. "He is trying to start a pack of his own, and after talking to him, I think it would be a good place to raise our children." A small smile played on dark lips as tattered audits swiveled forward to focus on him. Every so often her gaze would flicker to their kids, watching them play and explore with each other. Her dual tone gaze would otherwise stay on Ares, her tail wagging slowly. "But if he doesn't create his own pack, I still think we should find another place to live. Raisa just left without notice, and while Katja seems great, we need some place that has other kids for them to play with and a structure for them to learn under." She would voice her concerns, her crown tipping to the side as she concluded her little speech.


"Speech"

Daitaro seemed hardly aware of his parent's words, crystalline gaze moving instead to drawn in as much of the world as possible, all the while mouth remaining firmly shut. The boy moved to brush up against his sister seeking, the comfort of her form against his own, the world was so big and he almost wondered if he might just get sucked into its depths at any moment. His mother's encouragement helped a bit however as he turned cerulean gaze upon Phim as if to make sure she would follow before bounding off.

The colors were brighter here, the shapes more defined and everything was so big, so vast, so alive. In fact the boy had stopped his trotting suddenly to stare in wonder at a small creature making it's awkward way through the grass. It's small rounded body waddling as each of its multiple legs lifted to carry it forwards, a black paw raised and suddenly Daitaro was poking it. Black and red shell opened up to reveal translucent wings and the lady bug took to the air.

Phim nuzzled her father's ankle as she stared out at the world, taking in the colors that surrounded her with awe. She was hardly aware of her brother's movement before his form filled her vision, running ahead of her. She took off after him. When he paused, her head turned but she continued to move forward, running in a direction she was not seeing. Her oversized paw landed in the smallest of craters, but it was enough to send her tumbling over herself. She landed on her round stomach, four limbs outstretched, and began giggling uncontrollably.
