The sandy man had come across the terrain of Mount Volkan, but why was he here? He had found his mother, should he be by her side? But he still found himself wandering, not too far from her but as long as he came back to her and laid beside her at night, all was well.

He was still in search of his siblings, but that was not why he was here. Normally he came into every land and let out a cry, normally failing to discover any of them. But he went on trying.

But not today.

He gave a smell to the air, trying to find a scent of any other life around these parts, but he couldn't smell anything but the boiling ash of the dark stone his paws padded across. He stood still, head under shoulders as always, searching the land for anyone else. Was he alone?

She hated coming here most of all. The last place she saw....What was his name again? Didn't matter after what he had done...What had he done again? It was all so long ago, how could she possibly remember the black wolf that made a fool of her, or why he did as he did, all she knew was bitterness and hate. All she sought was vengeance. Micha was lost.

As she thought her paw hit a crumbling rock and sent her stumbling down the mountain in a cloud of coal and soot. she fell bodily against a rock and let out a piercing yelp, one that could have easily been mistaken for that of a coyote, before the ash and stone covered her. She stood with a groan and shook the debris from her fur, looking around panicked to make sure no one had seen her.

As the boy stood and did nothing, a piercing scream would ripple through his lobes. His ears perked, something that never, ever happened, and he would soon take off in a run to see what had happened.

Whether it was a coyote or not, it was I cry for that matter. Caeto had met other species that were friendly. But he was on the move to find it.

He would turn a corner, slinging his hind legs across the stone to find a girl shaking the ash off her pelt. And he was sure this was where the cry had come from. Her neck spun, looking for any others that may have heard her, he would search for her gaze before speaking, "Are you alright?"

Her side was killing her, and she sneezed more than once to clear her passages of soot. A voice asked if she was okay. One she had never heard before. "I am fine." She grumbled, her voice heavily accented and gruff. She looked for a source of the voice and found a sandy colored male, barely an adult, standing just outside of her personal bubble. "Who are you?" She huffed with a sideways glance toward the stranger, ready to run if he should attack her in her weakened state.

Her body heaved and sneezed to make the smoke release from it. Through her coughs she was able to make words back to the male, I'm fine. She sounded pretty blunt, Caeto turning his cheek to her and bringing his brow together. If he were here to attack her, would he have asked her if she was alright?

He still kept his distance, head lowered as was his normal stature. She asked of who he was, otherwise he would have stayed silent. "Caeto." Normally he would state his full name, Adravendi-Mathias, but he was growing out of the habit. He would keep quiet a moment, seeing as to how awkward it may have become, "You?" Her coughs still hacking out of her nostrils.

She shook herself again and huffed, looking at the sandy colored boy, exhausted. "I am Micha" She said quietly, aquatic eyes scanning the boy. He couldn't have been over a year old. He must have been far from home, she couldn't smell or hear another wolf for miles, what could he be doing out here. "What drew you out here Caeto?" She asked quietly, sitting on her hatches to scratch one of her over-sized ears. Perhaps she was wrong. Perhaps there were other wolves in the area. Maybe even a pack. "From where do you hail?" She asked.
