Nostrils inhaled the familiar stench. So the russet bitch had taken up residence in a new pack. Having lost her own had forced her to move onto a new one. Lips curled in distaste. Irritation had her hackles bristling as her toes teased the borders. Her tail would twitch back and forth like a cat waiting to pounce. Her skull would tip back, a summoning call leaving her dark lips. She would summon the alpha, perhaps she would get a chance to see the red pawn who had so foolishly lost her crown.

Haunches would recline towards the earth, her gaze piercing the unfamiliar forest. Audits would swiveling on top of her crown, attempting to pinpoint when someone would be arriving. It was a grueling task to venture from pack to pack forging alliances, or at least establishing some sort of standing. But it needed to be done. A quiet voice at the back of mind wished Kylar stood beside her, longed for his presence. Her shoulders would sag wearily for the briefest of moments before she once again sat as a Queen.

A powerful call would touch the air as the boy moved from the lake in his territory. His coat was still soaked but all he could do now was give it a thorough shake off as he raised his head to listen to the call that summoned him. He could immediately recognize the authority in that howl and could only assume a neighboring Alpha had made their way to his borders. Unwilling to keep her waiting the boy would start up a light trot that would bring him into her presence. A boyish grin would touch his expression at the thought of making new alliances as he slowed at stopped before her. It would only be now however that he really took in the wolf before him, he could see the strength in her immediately but her features, well new to his eyes was also recognizable, unique and in fact known to him even if he had never met this deadly beauty. This was Cataleya, he was sure of it ? the Once Queen whose crown Sibelle had lost.

He was no longer certain that she was here to make alliances with Solstice, but if she was here to seek revenge on Sibelle then Crucifix could and would not let her pass ? as much as he hadn't yet had a chance to hone in his skills as a fighter and could see the strength in the woman he would take her on and fight to the death if it meant the safety of the woman who had squeezed into her heart. ?My Lady, what brings you to Solstice? I am Crucifix, the Prima here? he would explain, his voice polite and welcoming despite his weary thoughts.

She would not wait long. A monochromed man would greet her, claiming to the Alpha. His tones were polite and welcoming, as to be expected. "Yes, I'm Cataleya, Queen of Arcanum." Nostrils quivered, inhaling the sickly sweet scent of the fallen queen. "And you are housing the woman who lost my pack to a mere child." Tones were cool and detached, though a brow lifted as her eyes glinted with wicked intent. She would fall silent, allowing her words to sink in for just a moment. He stunk of the woman, her perfume oozed from his pours. Her tail would lash back and forth before she continued. "But, that is not why I'm here." Her tones turned brisk, very business like. "Any wise alpha would make her presence known to their neighboring packs, establish standings or alliances even."

Gears turned in her mind. There was no doubt that he would return to the bitches side shortly after, if she didn't show up herself. It would be so easy to press her own dominating perfume into her coat for him to take home to his whore. Lips would curl in a wicked grin. She would take a few casual steps forward, her neck craning so that her nose could gesture the gesture in which she came from. "My pack resides in the west, along the plains and moor" Not that she would extend a helping hand to him. The subtle movement would aim to bring her closer to him, though not close enough to be uncomfortable, yet.

The woman before him would return her own name after he had spoken his own, confirming his thoughts that this was Catayela. He didn't know a great deal about the woman expect that she was strong, strong as his Sibelle was strong. In another world could those two have turned out as friends? Cat would speak again, issuing his worries that came with this meeting as she informed him that he was housing one who had lost to a child. He couldn't help but stiffen at the slight to Sibelle, but kept his expression neutral for the sake of alliances for Solstice. He didn't answer her, her words had not been a question, and in a moment she would speak again, soothing him partly by explaining this was not why she was here ? and he hoped that this would mean he would not have to fight her for Sibelle?s safety.

When Catayela had first arrived here he had thought she had the bearing of an Alpha, she would speak now and her words would explain why this was, that she was indeed queen of a pack once more. Cataleya would move forward now and Cru was immediately suspicious. She had already mentioned Sibelle and Cru knew of her dislike for the woman, and he immediately suspected Catayela of having something up her sleeve. He rocked back on his heels slightly to give partially more room between them without the slight of stepping away from her as he nodded his head to her words. ?The Plains and the Moor, I believe i know where those lie. Are you telling me the location in the hopes we can come to an agreement here?? he asked cautiously, still watching her wearily.

He would stiffen, it was barely noticeable but she caught it. A sly grin curled her features. Did he have feels for the russet bitch? Interesting... Sharpened eyes would note of the way he leaned away from her as she moved in, though he didn't take a step. He was like play dough. A chuckle would roll off her tongue when he spoke. He wanted to know her intentions. A wicked gleam filled her eyes as she thought about toying with him. "Perhaps." She would draw the word out with sultry tones. "I'm more interested in establishing a standing, figuring out who are my friends, and who are my enemies." The last word dangled her lips in a silent threat. Did he want to make an enemy out of her? Was he willing to take that risk. She would finally fall silent, allowing him a moment to think it over before responding. From his first impression, she did not want an alliance between them. He was not strong enough. He would never survive a war. Nor would he survive her. Eyes would dark with wicked intent. Should she rip this man from the russet bitch in retribution for losing her crown?

He knew beyond a doubt that the woman before him was dangerous, but there had been a time when Crucifix had considered himself more then capable to play the game with a dangerous woman. Had his mistakes with Sibelle and Vi undone that coy nature and roguish smile that use to be his playground? He turned his gears, thinking rapidly within the moments that Cat turned her own dangerous smile onto the brute. He loved Sibelle, and he did not want to betray her, and for that matter he would fight for her honor and body with his own life if it came down to that. But he also had the pack, his Solstice to look after, and he would not face down this woman from a side of weakness, he knew she would only prey upon such things. He raised his eyebrows at the woman then, as his tail gave a slow swish behind his backside he would stretch his paws outwards subtly in a stretch, a coy smile taking hold on his own lips as he put himself as a player in the game Cat played.

The outside Queen would continue on in drawn out tones, the venom in her voice barely concealed with sickly sweetness as she spoke of friends and enemies. It was his play in the game of words and he would upturn one lip in his own version of a dangerous smile ?A worthy endeavor? he mused, slipping once more into the wolf he had been when he had asked Vi for one lick of her raspberry coat... ?Your a newborn queen now in a new world, all the packs that had reigned along with you are gone or changed, are they not?? he continued, pretending to muse out loud as he fully relaxed his stance and loosened his paws before taking his own step closer to the silver bitch. ?so you have come here, ?perhaps? to learn of my worth, and what in turn do you have to show of your strengths, My Lady? I have a full fledged pack settled into this world. I have already begun the play of friends, and have standings in some of the new born packs in this world. Perhaps a friendship with me might reap its own benefits? he drawled, dropping the girl a wink as he flicked his tail behind himself once more.

Slowly he would shift before her. A brow would raise in quiet speculation. A coy smile curled his lips as he commented dryly on her plans. Unpleasant shock left a nasty taste in her mouth as he mused out loud, stepping closer to her. He would continued with his foolish words, tossing a wink her way before he finally shut his trap. Very well. He wanted to play this game, then she would play, but he would loose, painfully. Lips curled into a devilish smile that held only dark intent. "You presume far too much baby." She would coo softly to him, her own paws bringing her a step closer so that her hot breathe could wash over him. "I am far from a newborn." Not once did she hint to the irritation she felt.

"I know your friendship it useless to me. It is me you want as a friend, I am a worthy Queen, and a vicious enemy." She would lean forward, jaws tipping up as she attempted to whisper in his ear. He walked a very fine, dangerous line. She didn't know what game he played, nor did she care to find out. His only hope now was remain neutral with her, his only other option was her as an enemy. And she silently vowed to make his life a living hell. Salvia pooled in her mouth as his scent flooded her nostrils. His cologne was tainted by his russet whore, but his blood was not. She could spill it, right now, dominate him in ways he never knew possible. A sneer would curled her dark lips faintly. She hoped that he next words would be foolish, she was searching for a reason to sink her teeth into him, and he seemed all to willing to provide it on a silver platter.

The dark woman before him never stumbled at the sudden appearance of a lost personality. No indeed, she would give back just as feriercly, her eyes dangerous as she drawled a reprimand for his presumptions. She would contradicted his speech of her status as a new born, her breath hot in his face with her words. The boys smile was soft, curious and playfully as he sighed gently. "Your right, you could never be called a newborn, a wildcat in a world of children might have been a better assessment" he laughed, almost teasing yet flattering in the same breath. Her next words where a threat, a promise and a proposition rolled into one and the boy leaned ever closer to those wicked orbs, even as she moved closer to him.the pair could almost be described as in a lover's lock if it wasn't for the air of danger that crackled unpredictablely between their opposingly shaded coats. He took a moment to dwell upon her words, thinking fast and unwilling to either make an enemy of her nor become a slave to any plots she might be hatching. "Then maybe we could help eachother, an even alliance in this changing world" he mused thoughtfully. His bright eyes sought to connect with hers, his head lowering ever so slightly, not in admittition, it was too slight for that, but in a gesture of respect for this strange and deadly beauty.

He would submit to her words, finally having found his sense. She would merely sneer at his words, his laughter falling on deaf ears. He would lean closer, it was as though he was captivated by her every word. His scent suffocated her, his body heat washed over her. He was finally close enough. Moving with lazy elegance, she would move in an attempt to press herself against his side. He wanted an alliance. Smart boy. His head would lower, and while it may have held an entirely different meaning to him, she saw it as his submission to her. Fangs danced in the light as lips pulled back in a nasty grin. "You want an alliance?" Velvety words left her lips as she pressed herself against his side if he allowed her. Jaws would tip up so that she could murmur breathy words in his ear. "Baby, I won't defend those who have lost what belongs to me." A dark chuckle rolled off her tongue as she pulled away from him, settling her gaze on his face. Gears turned in her mind as she thought up an offer. To make him an enemy or to remain neutral. Both were equally appealing, but she could have so much more fun if he stood against her.
