He had strayed away from the den, not quite sure he wanted to be around his parents at the time. Hercules wasn't upset about what had happened at the meeting, his parents had the right to do what they did, and he would stand behind them on it. He justed wanted them to have some time to themselves, calm down, get back into the rhthym of things. And what better way to do that than check out his home, the land his parents now had control of, no longer did he have to stay around the den. Carefully he moved through the grasses, head held high so that his orange gaze could keep a look out while ears stood atop his head, listening to what was going on around him. This place, it was beautiful. He stood in awe, just watching the grass sway back and forth in the breeze, rubbing against each other and creating a scratchy yet relaxing sound. He hummed softly to himself, a smile spread across his lips. He was happy to know he lived in such a nice place, that he would be able to grow up here and see what the world threw his way. His mommy was sick, and so she had gone away. So right now he was with another mommy, Natalya, the pretty black furred lady with the black eyes. She looked like the night, and her body was warm. He liked being close to her, even if she was busy a lot of the time. At least he had Hemera and his brother... but the boy was awkward even around them. He was different, his eyes shining with intelligence and yet... there was an strangeness in how he interacted with others. He was gentle, longing for love, but the face paced ways of others had him a little less than confident.

There were three other pups he denned with -- the actual children of the pretty lady. He thought they were okay, but Thany hadn't managed to really speak with them yet. He would always hang in the background, as if he'd fade into nothingness and they'd forget he was ever there. He was alone right now, but Thanatos longed for company instead. The boy's brilliant eyes would shine as he slowly moved through the grasses, a brown little figure on the dancefloor.

Ears would twitch however as heard another moving along. He was humming, and by the tone Thany guessed it was one of the pretty lady mommy's pups. Hercules or something. He would move at that slow pace towards him, speaking so softly that the brown and black might not have heard his voice; "H-hi Herc..."[/color] He would come to a stop, his tail giving a tiny wag behind him.

He had stopped briefly, humming ceasing and eyelids slowly coming together and filling his world in darkness. Hercules would take this moment to tune into his environment, taking in a long and deep breath, holding it for a moment then would exhale. Now he could really listen to the grass's movement, brushing against each other, bending to and fro. It was beautiful. In the mix of this, the boy caught something in the air, faint but definitely there. The dark boy slowly opened his eyes, head turning left then right, there, something int he corner of his vision. In one smooth motion Hercules would manage to turn himself around to face whatever was behind him, firey orange orbs falling upon a pup around his age. It was one of Virgil's kids that his mother was helping to take care of while their own was gone to get help. Other than that he didn't know too much about them, really only keeping to himself or his siblings, but not because he disliked the other kids. "Oh hey... Thanatos." For a moment he had almost forgotten the boys' name, since he didn't use it too often. He would smile, putting on a friendly face and wagging his tail. This would be a good time to get to know his litter-mate, see what he was like and if they could become buddies. "What're you doing out here?" Had the other boy not stopped, would Thanatos have been able to catch up to him with his slow gait? His bright orbs would meet those of orange as Hercules turned around, coming face to face with the brown and black male. Yet... Now that attention had turned on him Thany felt the need to draw back. To seclude. Like his greeting had annoyed the other, even if that wasn?t the case. Hercules kept to his siblings... And Thanatos kept to his own, mostly... It was strange that they hadn?t interacted much up until this point... And yet it made sense.

Hercules would smile, and Thanatos would manage a very small one, there, but more along the lines of being uncertain. Was he being a nuisance? Should he go away? He would flick his ears in embarrassment, looking around at all the grasses as if they might answer the question his ?brother? had for him. But of course they did not so Thany would turn his gaze back on the older pup, shuffling on his paws a bit as he answered in that slow, quiet voice.

?Just walking... Hemera seemed... Busy... And Arc was... Sleeping.? He would answer.

The little girl was bored, so she followed her brother, sniffing around until she almost ran into him, stopping with her blue eyes wide. This was one of her siblings, but she only glanced at Thany, wagging her tail at him a little, although she did not speak. She almost wanted to pull away and go explore by herself, but maybe Hercules wanted to talk to her as well. Tilting her head at Thany's words, she finally spoke up. "I was busy, Thany, but I got bored and came to explore around here." Hemera nodded at Hercules, sitting down next to her brother. "Hey there, Herc. Nice to see you, and maybe even make friends with you." With another glance at Thany, Hemera spoke again, at the mention of their other brother. The youngest sibling hadn't even talked to him. "He's been sleeping an awful lot, hasn't he? I haven't been able to even talk to him." She said to the two wolves. "Hear Me Talk," 'Read My Thoughts.'

For a brief moment Hercules wondered if the other boy didn't want to be here, his smile not exactly appearing like his own had, almost uncertain. It made the boy's smile falter, brows slightly coming together in confusion and ears pointing outwards to his sides, not exactly fully back. So silently he sat there, waiting for the boy's response, watching as he looked out towards the grasses before finally meeting Hercules' gaze. From the sound of it, at least he thought so, the boy was making up why he was here, explaining that Hemera was busy and Arc was sleeping. So that was their names. Fiery orange eyes flicked away from Thanatos, quickly locking onto another pup coming up behind the boy quickly. Suddenly he would stand up, ready to jump forward and yank Than forward and out of the way, but the pup had stopped just in time to avoid a collision. Brows were not fully together, almost in annoyance as such a reckless action, but it would carefully shift back to a calm expression once she spoke. Hemera, he would take it. She told Than that she was busy but got bored and went to explore before taking a sat beside her sibling and greeting Hercules. The girl said it was nice to meet and potentially become friends with the brown boy, to this he would flash a friendly smile. "Nice to meet you also, becoming friends shouldn't be too hard." He voiced, meaning every word. The boy wasn't anti-social, he just needed a good atmosphere to make friends with someone, or at least to be on good terms with them. She would then go to talk about their other sibling, Arc, who appeared to sleep a lot and didn't really talk to them. Was he sick maybe? Perhaps the group could try to find some things that the two could take back in hopes to make him better. "Maybe he is just sick." He'd speak up, giving the two an apologetic look for suddenly interrupting. Clearing his throat Hercules would take a few steps to the side before stopping and glancing over his shoulder at the two. "We should try finding some things to make him smile, maybe it will help him?" He didn't want to be bossy towards them, just trying to help out. "Speech" Awesome image by Shelby <3

The brown and black boy would hardly have any time to respond to Thanatos? statement before the sound of paws was heard. Even with an impending crash Thany would move his head slowly, turning his gaze on his sister quietly. He would shift on his paws some as she spoke, settling beside him, but with the growing number of those he was now interacting with Thanatos began to naturally shut down. He would take a step back, ears lowering some as he dropped his gaze.

?Oh...? He would say softly. So she was busy and now wasn?t? Thanatos didn?t question his brown coated sibling, remaining quiet as let his gaze slip from Hemera to Hercules. Arcturus had been sleeping quite a bit, seeming to ignore them, though Thanatos just left him be. He wasn?t sure what to do, if it was okay for him to poke his brother and ask him if he was okay.

Thany would tilt his head to the side, his voice coming out as if in awe at Hercules? suggestion. ?S-sick?? The thought worried the young boy. Again Thanatos would shift lightly on his paws, ears tilting back some. ?Shouldn?t...the adults... Check him? If he?s... Sick?? His voice seemed to get quieter, uncertain. It was natural for him to get quieter too, until it seemed the others would focus on more than him, and he?d slip away... As if he felt he wasn?t welcome there, even if it wasn?t the case.
