Artemis, perhaps?

The brute was back in the lands of Alacritis- well- the lands that most of the wolves roamed. He'd roamed the southern parts of the land, in the last season before he'd decided that perhaps a few of the worthless wolves in the land- actually needed him around to keep them on their toes. So he headed back- to the first wolf he knew would by dying to see him. He was tad surprised as he approached the forest to scent that there was no longer a pack here. Did the little wraith grow bored with her crown? His body grew excited as he thought of her- and dared to so boldly trespass into the forest that she so guarded. She wondered what she was up too but wasn't exactly seeking her out. Perhaps she'd just appear and make his day, that much more entertaining.

He thought of her mother- the sly temptress he had lain with, once. Why couldn't Artemis be as reasonable to enjoy life's pleasures are her mother had been?  A chuckle eased from the depths of his chest at the thought. Perhaps he could do something to convince her...

Talking nearly to himself- he would speak. "These woods are so dark- I wonder where their angel lurks?" As he moved forward- he could only hope that she'd stumble upon him.

I do not understand. Where is all the ice and snow?

It was the most recent of a string of questions that had gone through Mijrofa's head over the course of the week, but by far the most reoccurring question was where all the kojots had gone. And if there are no kojots, how am I to remove them?

There had been something that looked like a kojot earlier, but it turned out to be a stinking fox. Another time he'd fought with a wolverine for no apparent reason and been forced to flee. Another time he'd ran afoul of a brown bear. All in all, it had been an eventful week, one marked by a departure from the land of winter, through a few fat lands where the prey ran freely, and now there was this weird foggy place. "If nothing else, I am the fortunate that these stranci mark their borders clearly. It must be beyond their kind to have removed all the kojots from their land single-handedly... but what if they have? How will I face my clans again without one after all of these digressions?

The female had been walking for a long time. He sat down, frowning into the fog, then raised his nose to sniff for the presence of any others. He found a scent and the sound of a murmur. "Hello?" he called out firmly, looking around.

A distance voice jerked him from his thoughts- and he turned towards it. Definitely not whom I was searching for. He thought with a dissatisfied grumble. He turned- curving upwards to emerge through the thick forest with hopes of ending up facing this stranger. The briars and sticky plants grabbed at his ivory fur- as he pushed through their depths. In moments, he'd emerge from the foggy wood- facing the strange dark male. A brow raises on his oddly marked face, and he approaches in a near cat-like pace. "Who are you?" He inquires his voice almost silky. His eyes narrow- the amber and cerulean orbs turning into slits. He would halt about four feet from the strange wolf- assuming he didn't back away. Creedance was a stranger to the idea of personal or respectful space. "This isn't the safest forest to lurk in, you see- the angel that runs this place isn't as forgiving as I am." He said almost cynically- a slight sneer to his tone. A dark chuckle leaves him. "It's almost eerie that she hasn't already put a stop to your intrusion." He noted. Of course he wasn't concerned about his own blatant trespass- Artemis would have been dying to see him... wouldn't she?

The stranger blinked as the other wolf made his presence known, and then immediately ducked and began inhaling along the ground, expressionless, but with the businesslike briskness of a soldier conducting a search. Had he really missed some stranci's border? It worried him even more than the mild threat in the other wolf's mannerisms. "You have something of little on your face, comrade," he said, almost as an afterthought, mid-search. He ceased his sniffing after awhile and sat straight up, as though he might salute. "My name is Mijrofa. I am sorry to your angel if I have intruded upo—"

Mijrofa paused mid-sentence, his brow furrowing. After a moment, he tilted his head quizzically, his desaturated eyes travelling down the male's form slowly, then back up to his eyes. "I was looking for a kojot, but now I may needing to find an egg at the first." He thought for a moment, and then nodded to himself. "Definitely an egg. I may need to backtrack out of Angel's land to place of plenty. Many birds behind me. Do you come frequently to Foggy Place?"

she is the enigmatic specter that lurks this forsaken crypt, the phantom queen who diligently haunts. and the faint pallor of a looming moon does enhance her eerie appearance, pallid flesh simply radiant as the deity prowls through the labyrinth of vegetation flourishing within her keep -- strides calculated, precise. abhorrent countenance retaining its tepid indifference despite the inferno blazing beneath her rigid exterior, minute traces of such fury visible within her spiteful gaze. for she is an indignant warden, and those who had mistakenly infiltrated her domain would duly receive the brunt of her festering wrath -- despite the hindrance which conspicuously plagues her, her abdomen noticeably distended with the promise of budding life. no matter -- she had been swarmed by the masses of a negligible and cowardly empire since conceiving; surely asserting her supremacy over subservient invaders would prove a simple task.

there is contempt laden within her mismatched gaze as she approaches the duo with attempted obscurity, saliva bleeding from blackened gums { with ravenous intent } as the urge for bloodshed grows prominent within her distorted psyche. yet as the deity registers vague familiarity with one of two daring intruders, velveteen lips tweak with sardonic mirth -- visage contorting quite criminally. for she had presumed that the brute had met with an early grave! yet the reality of the situation was much less appealing to the tyrant queen. “creedance voltaire, paying me a visit?” is the deceptive croon that flits past frayed lips as the deity emerges from the shadows of her realm, pupils unwavering from his rugged physique despite the lingering presence of another. “i should feel honored for being so dearly missed.”

The strange wolf spoke- instead of immediately running from his presence. God- he was losing his touch. He snorted, the sound laced with a slight snarl- as the female commented on his face. Was she implying that his markings didn't flatter him? Creedance's eyes narrowed slightly, though his expression quickly changed to confusion- as the wolf spoke more. "Creedance Voltaire." He said- his brow furrowing slightly as the strange wolf spoke some more. Okay- crazy- she's crazy. He snorts. "Are you lost... sweetheart?" Cree implores, stepping closer to the strange wolf- before whipping around when he hears, before he scents the angel he'd been looking for.

Her words are nearly a breath of fresh air, after talking to the stranger, and a cocky grin lit his features. "Darling- looking more like your mother every season." He cooed, batting his mix-matched eyes. Her words brought a smirk to his jaws, and he sauntered closer to her. "I could show you how dearly missed you've been." His tone and the hungry look he gives her leaves little to the imagination as to what exactly he is thinking about doing to-no, with her. He's silent for a few moments. Then he chuckles. "So darling dove- what on earth has happened to your kingdom?" He asked. The last time they'd spoke- that he remembered at least... she'd been ascending to her throne. What on earth happened? "Did the albino bastard take it from you?" He asked. "Do I need to have a talk with him?" Does Daddy need to take care of you... He wondered, though his ideas of being her 'daddy' were far less innocent than they should have been. In his interest in the female before him- he'd forgotten the other, the wolf he could forgo if he could only release his intentions upon the white angel- he so desired. Why did she defy him?

"Creedance Voltaire..." the foreigner murmured aloud, looking skyward for a minute and repeating the syllables a few times before returning to the present. "A stranci name of many beauty. I am d--"

Another creature appeared in the moment and it made Mijrofa pause for a moment to watch the situation unfold between his new "friend" and the one who lived here. The explanation of the where and whyfores of his presence there died somewhere in the dramatic atmosphere of the meeting. The darker wolf scratched under his chin and shifted uncomfortably. He'd been intending to court the stranger, but the events lead him to believe that he was already "taken" by this Angel person.

I should be grateful, at least, he thought to himself. I should have asked if this one had a partner already. At least I hadn't gone out and gotten any eggs or flowers or anything first. A mistake such as this one is quite unbefitting someone of my honorable clan and breeding. He took another look at the rather militant-looking female who had appeared from the fog and addressed the other fellow. Hmm... she appears maybe a bit sick, maybe a bit angry, but not at me in particular, so it is fortunate that nobody has witnessed my blunder.

So he gathered his feet below him and sat straight up, putting all the dignity he could muster into his mannerisms, clearing his throat. If this really was this female's territory, it would be impolite to speak before being directly addressed, but he began to doubt that too. They always seemed to have different rules here.
