and it's our time now if you want it to be, maul the world like a carnival bear set free

The little violet lass was beginning to enjoy the outside. It was a wonderful place, and every day brought a new adventure. She'd walked very far from home today, following the faint, sweet aroma that was teasing her. What was this place? Everything was colourful, and flowers were abundant. The trees looked old, but they were still not very big. What kind of trees were these? The lavender girl ambled a short distance into the orchard, smiling happily as the welcoming scents enveloped her. Boy, that was a long walk, and now her feet kind of hurt. With a long yawn, the purple darling collapsed in a heap on the new spring grass. It was nice and soft, perfect for a little nap.

She lazed there in the early afternoon sun, rather enjoying the peaceful ambiance of this place. Birds trilled overhead, and she could smell other things living here. Sometimes a branch would creak, and leaves would rustle, announcing the presence of something much bigger than her. However, nothing attacked her, and the deer continued eating without disturbance. The fawns had been born very recently, and though the doe's should be wary of a little lilac babe snoozing in the grass, they couldn't be bothered. Every now and again her eyelashes would flutter against her cheek as dreams found her, and her tail would thump enthusiastically against the terra, but she did not awake.

It wasn't until a little white butterfly chose to land upon her snout that the wee one chose to awaken, stirred by the tickle of it's little feet against her nostrils. Blinking bleary eyes, she was amazed by this little delicate creature upon her muzzle. A grin crept onto her features, tail quivering in the grass. A muffled sound of awe escaped her, and she fought back a giggle of delight. It was so pretty! The tickle of it's feet was beginning to become too much for her nose, and she fought back the sneeze building in her sinuses. She didn't want to scare away the butterfly, she wanted to watch it try fruitlessly to harvest pollen from her lilac coat.

However, she would not be so lucky. A rather adorable expulsion of air had her scootching backwards onto her rump, and scaring away the pretty little bug. With a frown and a disappointed whine, she watched it flutter away to find it's pollen elsewhere. Well, that was no fun!

sometimes I just wanna sit around and gaze at my shoes

"Speech"

Vi had awoken from her afternoon nap to find Desiree and Milicent still sleeping but Absinthe missing, though she wanted to believe that the past was the past Vi couldn't help the arc of sheer terror that shot through her as her mind replayed the fading howls of the white bitch who had forcably claimed her daughter when her daughter had wanted to go with her. Immediatly it had it Vi up and moving, trotting with a heavy dip in her stride as right leg attempted to work of the kinks of the afternoon nap. Luckily Absinthe hadn't left too long ago so her trail was fresh enough that Vi could follow the depressions of her paws across the and and to the dirt where from there Vi had to follow her nose. Her travels would bring her to the orchard and for a time Vi would slow, head tipping back as memories came flooding back. This land had been Cataleya's so long ago, a land that had directly boarderd Covari's... It had been where Vi had first met the woman and found out that not only did her brother live with Cat but that she was an aunt as well. So lost in thought she was she almost didn't notice Absinthe until a sneeze snapped Vi back to reality in time to watch the lazy dance of a butterfly as it fluttered away from her daughter. Ah so she was okay... Vi would smile slowly as she approched her daughter and laughed, "Did you make a new friend?" Vi would ask, head tipping as she came to stand beside Absinthe, weight shifting to she her right leg would only rest on the ground. Absinthe had come fairly far on her own. Impressive.

ooc: crappy phone post because I'm really bored and babysitting.

The violet babe heard quiet paw steps behind her, approaching from her rear. She hardly noticed, dual toned optics focused solely on the sudden multitudes of fluttering insects that were only being noticed now. A delighted giggle of wonderment and glee left her tiny maw, utterly delighted by this revelation. Her peals of laughter left her jaws like tinkling bells, melodic as they passed her miniscule needle teeth. They were so pretty! Her fluffy lavender tassel started to thump delightedly on the terra. It couldn't possibly get any better than this, could it? She was quickly proven wrong. Her mommy made herself known, soft melodies dancing in the purple darlings lobes. Alabaster stained crown would loll backwards and to one side as she cast her mismatched gaze upon the crimson form of her mommy. An elated yup would erupt from her throat, and the girl quickly threw herself clumsily to her oversized paws. However, the movement didn't go quite as planned, and she stumbled, falling straight onto her face with a muffled oof!

Blinking in surprise, the girl gazed up at her mommy as
she righted herself. Her goofy, childish grin was something of pure glee and adoration. "Yes mommy! But he flew away, to be with his fam'ly! So now I go's make a new friend!" She announced, bracing her paws against her mommy's narrow chest, so as to press her face into the plush fur of her sanguine ruff. "You gonna come make friends with the butterflies too?" She asked, high voice innocent and quizzical. Cocking her little tiara to one side, she watched her mommy's face curiously. It would be awesome if mommy would come play with her and meet all of the butterflies. They were so pretty, and colorful. Just like her and mommy Vi and mama Des and Milli. Were they butterflies too, her family? That'd be neat.
