I'm not a girl, I'm a storm with fur.
She strut along the growing forest, the still soft earth squishing below her paws. She tossed her head around as her flaming body found no rest. She wanted to go further, faster, but Spring held her in its chains. Her heat made her more inclined to actually communicate with the general public, something that she didn't often enjoy. But now, she craved the heat of someone else, when usually her own was good enough. Ugh. She just needed to do something. Just then she froze, a sly smile spread across her maw. She knew who could save her, and she knew what she had in mind too. Tipping her maw up she let out a howl for her electric brother, a challenge clear in her tone. When her song came to an end, her ember eyes flickered around to catch sight of his yellow marked form. He would know what her call was, and she knew that he wouldn't back down from this challenge. Cause if he did, he knew that she would bug him endlessly about it. She wondered if any of her other siblings would come to watch, to see what all her commotion was about.

It seemed, as always, his sister was a giver of small miracles. It was in the exact moment before she called that he found himself bored and with no idea where to begin on how to entertain himself. Sure he could do a few more laps around the base of the Volcano, but that got tedious and boring. He had so much extra energy to spend, and he decided he'd blame it both on his anxiety and flitting emotions from their trip to the island as well as the fact that nearly half of his family was in heat and he couldn't do a thing about it. Yet, here she was, as always, helping him in ways only she could. A fight, a battle, a way to use his muscles and his energy and train. She would put him to the mat, exhaust his excess energy, and allow him a restful sleep (for once since spring began). So he moved, bolting across the territories to her call, a bright grin on his lips and never once leaving. His tongue lolled out as stormy eyes shown brightly. He zigzagged through the redbud trees as he pinpointed her, nearly faltering on the slippery blossoms that littered the earth. He skidded to a stop just before her, grinning from ear to ear. "You rang?" He teased, spreading his legs equally. He didn't yet set his defenses, wanting to speak just a little before they began. He smirked to her, tilting his head just so. "Any rules? And what will the winner get?" He teased. They often battled against each other in an array of challenges, and he knew Sere loved getting prizes.

Her opponent didn't take his time showing up, it was only a matter of moments before his electric form appeared at his side. She tossed him a wide grin, her head tossing back as he asked what the rules and prizes were. She was all about the prizes while he cared for the rules. "Always rules with you, dearest brother," she said with a chuckle, her shoulders rolling forward in preparation of battle. "Rules are as follows; no permanent scarring, and no erm, low blows," she said with another laugh, nodding her head towards his no-no zone. If she ever went to harm his family jewels she was pretty sure that she would lose a limb. "No serious wounds either, I don't think Glacier would like for us to both come back all bloody."
The girl had to think a bit harder about a prize for the winner. Or, better yet, something for the loser to do. Mmm... what was a task that neither of them liked? Just then, a thought popped in her mind and she sneered at Voltage. "The loser of this fight will be punished rather than the winner getting a prize -- other than bragging rights of course," she said with a wink, her flame coloured tail curling over her rump. "The loser has to stay on the Mount for two whole days without leaving," she boomed, a single brow rising as she eyed him down. Would he be up for such a challenge?

Voltage smirked at his sister, watching as she laughed over his questions. She knew how much Voltage depended on structure and rules, it helped his boundless energy feel a little more restrained. So when she listed them out he laughed aloud, as well, nodding quickly. His tail would instinctively shift over his nether regions at the mentions before he laughed again, a sound rumbling deep in his chest. They were good rules, obvious but good. He didn't want to hurt her, nor did he want to be hurt. He knew how her fire could get out of control and he had been the brunt of that burning energy before. So he nodded with a gentle grin, accepting her terms, waiting for her to deal out the prizes which was certainly her forte. He wanted structure and rules, she wanted prizes. When she deemed that there would be no prize for the winner (outside of bragging rights) he couldn't help but blink, eyes growing wide just slightly before she continued. Ah, so a punishment. They were both boundless creatures, so to be locked down to the mountain was not something that either would enjoy. But then again, at least that gave him the entire mountain to travel around rather than being tied to the den itself. And then...he grinned, eyes narrowing as he stared at his beloved sister. "Addendum, the loser must be confined to the den for two days, and cannot leave." He said with a toothy grin.
With that out of the way, Voltage would even his stance to settle his weight upon four bent limbs. His muscles would tighten to help in any leaping he would have to do. His stamina would help him greatly in any fight against his sister, but her agility could easily put in him a corner. So he would have to be ready as he settled more weight upon his hind limbs. Toes would spread to claw at the ground, more because Voltage was rather figety than anything else. His head lowered to stare at his sister, eyes narrowing just slightly, knowing that at any moment she could easily surprise him with an attack. Lips would raise, first, in a smirk as he watched her. "Ladies first." He practically purred, shifting his forelegs just so and pushing his shoulders along his neck to scrunch up the fur there, to help protect his vitals as he growled playfully, lips curling along pristine canines. Ears would swivell back to protect the audits as he lowered his chin, slowly, waiting for Serefina to make the first move.

Her brother upped the punishment, saying that the loser would have to spend the whole two days locked away in their den. Her smirk grew, head nodding as she accepted his new terms. So be it, she knew that she could beat him anyways. Ever since they were little Serefina showed her skills in fighting, although she didn't always know when to stop. Her emotions sometimes carried her a little too far, and often Volt was hurt a little more than she would have intended. That was something she was trying to work on, and Voltage was always willing to help it seemed. As her brother set his defenses she did as well, easily falling into her fighters stance. Sere's ember eyes narrowed as her legs spread, bending slightly as her toes spread and her claws bit into the soft soil. Hackles rose along her spine as both her head and her tail aligned with her spine, making her as straight as an arrow. Shoulders rolled forward as her neck scrunched, chin tucking towards her chest to protect her vitals. He allowed her the first move, and she would have been stupid to turn it down.
Seven feet stood between the two of them, and Serefina aimed to quickly close the distance as she charged forward, hoping to keep them at a head on position. At the last moment she aimed to take a step to her own left, right shoulder jutting forward to try and collide with the center of Voltage's chest. She was hoping for some moderate bruising, and knew that the front of her own shoulder would most likely bruise as well at the contact. At the same time Serefina's jaws parted, head turning to her right as she tried to bite down on the left side of Voltage's neck. Her top jaw aimed for the top of his neck along his spine, while her lower jaws aimed for the center of his neck. Her bite was aiming for the middle of his neck, an equal distance from his head and shoulders. Serefina hoped to bite down and hold onto his neck, aiming to achieve a grip on him. Serefina attempted to lift her front right paw, adjusting her weight to her left to make up for her tripod stance. Trying to hover it over Volt's front left paw, she attempted to bring her own front right paw slamming down on to his left, hoping to sprain some toes.
OOC: Arin and I both agreed that they are standing seven feet apart.
