Her lime green eyes looked wide over the edge of the cliff, sending shivers down her spine. She had heard rumors about this place, it was rather scary if she had to say so herself. Limno was really good at keeping her balance though, and did not have a fear of heights either. In fact standing on the edge was rather refreshing until she decided to move away for the sake of avoiding another pushing her over. If she landed the wrong way it would definitely result in tragedy. In which she would rather avoid considering her new life here.
Walking along the grassy terrain she sat down and flicked her ears curiously looking at the view from upon this hill. It made her smile honestly, this wasn't too far from home and it brought a sense of dignity within her. Wagging her tail back and forth, she was rather bored. Maybe someone would show up to encompany her. Also she was hoping it would not be anyone mean. She touched the grass underneath her, she had never been here before.
ooc: Limno is exploring these cliffs she's never been to before. You're free to join her.
Something drew him toward Abaven's territory...after that spar, remembering all the valuable things he learned from Quelt, he...sort of wanted to see him. Quelt had been his dear father after Hajime and Elsa had died. He took care of the pups, and tried to make Ixionn a king...but, things began to fall apart. Ixionn had gotten mad at him for straying his position as king, and was glad that he had left for Abaven. But now...he missed him. Even though he was three years old, he still wanted to nuzzle into Quelt's fur and laugh with him, like his old pup days. He also wanted to see Renhet or Aiko again! He missed his two sisters. And moreover, company and friends were something he needed.
But as he began to make his way toward the cliffs, a foreign aroma began to invade his nostrils. Ixionn stopped in his tracks and lifted his head, inhaling the new scent. A girl...but her aroma didn't seem familiar at all. And she was nearby, too! The boy lowered his head and glanced at the grass, thinking. But before long he was trotting up behind her, his burning orange gaze resting onto her. Her fur was creamy brown, with a white-tipped tail and some dark chocolate ears. He couldn't see her face, yet. Ixionn smiled and moved up beside her, keeping a respectful distance. "Beautiful, isn't it?"
He grinned and placed himself at the very edge, lifting his head as a gentle breeze danced around him. A cliff quite similar to this one had brought death upon his real father...but the memory was just a weak ember. He didn't let it bother him anymore.
Limno would turn her body around as the scent of the male came to her nose. He smelt a little like Arian, for a moment it crossed into her brain if he was part of her pack but she smiled regardless and wouldn't let the thought sway her. Wagging her tail back and forth he made a comment on how beautiful it was. Making her look at the view once more. "It is, but you have to be careful, if you fell it could end your life." she had only heard stories in the past about wolves jumping off the cliffs on their own. A feeling she never understood, as she looked at Ixionn with her white eye patch.
"My name's Limno Hutashi, I'm from abaven. What brings a handsome man like you out here?" she asked him curiously. She would come to rest in front of him. Promixity did not bother her, she knew if she was in any danger she could run she could defend herself pretty well too. Something about his markings struck her as familiar. What was it?
Heights or falling from heights had never been a fear of his. The only things that scared him quite a bit were rapids and floods. He didn't like water...apparently. Except, she was right. Falling now would mean falling to his death, whether he landed right side up or upside down. Ixionn backed up a bit, his ears flicking back. He wanted to tell her not to worry about him...but his thoughts were cut off, when she slid in front of him and called him handsome, while explaining that her name was Limno and she came from Abaven. Huh...why didn't he notice earlier? She must smell like Bass or Quelt or someone from Abaven! Ixionn sat back on his haunches and stared down at her, lifting a brow.
He hoped she wasn't trying to flirt with him...flirting wasn't a talent of his, seriously. He'd probably chase this young lady away if he even tried to respond to her compliment. So he swallowed and smiled nervously. "My name is Ixionn Walker. I'm from Sonticus, and I'm just exploring a bit." He breathed, his tail swaying gently at his heels. "Abaven used to be my home, but I left to accompany my father, Quelt. He came back here though. Perhaps you know him?" She may have met him once or twice, maybe even seen him at a meeting or something...
She would listen to him for a moment, oh so he was fine. You never knew what happened to another wolf until you really spoke to them, she smiled at him. Limno's excited nature could sometimes be taken in the wrong way. Now that her and Quelt were together though, just thinking about it made her nervous. She had never really liked someone, but he seemed nice and a family was in the back of her mind. As her tail curled he would explain he was from Sonticus wait he was a walker! A cousin!
"Woah, a walker, you're one of my cousins. Arian is my sister!" she exclaimed. Though nodded her head a little, "I've never been here before so I'm trying to explore, want to join me?" she stood up a bit turning the other way. Mentioning Quelt as his father, made her tilt her head. Quelt had children? She certainly hoped this didn't mean he was related to her, no Quelt must have been adopted. Though she did become a little flustered, "Ummm.... yeah, he's kind of my mate?" she scratched behind her left ear with a foot to shake off the nervous feeling.
""
Before he knew it, her face was beaming with interest, and he blinked in confusion. What was she so happy about? Ixionn slowly leaned back, his tail balancing his large body out as he awaited her explanation. But he didn't have to wait long. "Arian is my sister!" She exclaimed, and Ixionn, as well, became interested. An uneasy smile stretched crookedly across his face. Another cousin...how about that? He didn't know he had so much family around these parts. But, why not be happy about it? More family, more allies. His tail brushed against the emerald grass gently, his ears pricking forward. "Well, it's nice to see some more family." He told her with an interest glint in his amber eyes.
But the next thing she had uttered took him aback. His cousin was now his fathers mate?! What a small world...Ixionn moved backward with wide eyes, trying to process the whole thing without gagging. In a way, she was his new mother...but, not really. Ixionn shook his head, his awe-struck gaze traveling to the ground. "Oh...really? That's quite a shock." He muttered, forcing his voice not to shake as he spoke. Now he really needed to talk to Quelt. This much confusion and awe made him want to collapse and vomit everywhere. Arian with Cypress was already shocking enough...now this?! Ixionn slid down to his stomach and found himself relaxing, his tail curling around his haunches.
