I Will Not Cry

--HEALING POINTS FTW-
He ventured northward after his spar on the battlefield. Though the older male had bested him, Enigma hadn't done too bad. His tail ached something fierce, pain shooting up it whenever he moved to sit or lie down, so he refrained from doing so when he could. He knew it was fractured, but in a fight against a more experienced opponent it was to be expected. He had left his own marks on the brute, though not as bad as his own, he still was glad that he had gotten the other male a decent amount.
The cold season would numb his wounds, his tail mainly. In his carelessness he had gotten it fractured at the base, so it hung limp behind him. He hoped it would heal, though without any healers that he knew of--and his not knowing how to repair broken and fractured bones--he didn't know how it would heal, if at all. The pain began to numb, so Enigma would take this as a chance to rest. He dug out a small hole just wide enough for him to lie in, the evening sky changing its colors when he had finished. He settled down, wincing as his tail lay straight out behind him at a crooked angle, and he himself would try to rest and numb the other bite wounds and bruises he had. Not bad though, for his first fight. |
