Too hot to handle

There seemed to be a lot of tension lately, and alot of it seemed to revolve around that male. Of course, he was still upset that Lykos had been made Heir, especially since his brother didn't even want to go in the first place. Didn't that make him unloyal? Something his brother was always crying about? He hmphed as he made his way somewhere else to explore, something to get his mind off of things. His mom could go what she wanted, it was her life after all, and he was beginning to realize that.
As the yearling trekked through the land, the sun was at his back, his shadow cast long ahead of him. This place didn't seem all that interesting, that is, until a loud sound burst off to his left. He jumped in surprise, watching as water shot up towards the sky for a few seconds before disappearing. What on earth was that? He would slowly draw closer, nostrils flaring as he detected the scent of steam and water somewhere beneath him maybe? He stopped a few feet from the geyser, unsure of what it was or if it was even safe to approach further. |
