He was not like any normal pup. Apathy didn't play, and when he did it was rather rough until his father told him off. The dully painted pup would relax himself near the falls - looking at the swirling colors underneath his own reflection. They had been born and lived in such a strange but beautiful place. Apathy found himself liking it, but he rarely would come to like anything other than the obligation he had towards his family and siblings - especially chasm. The pup let his blue paws sink into the waters. It was getting cold here he would be facing his first winter with his family. Seeing as how the clouds were rolling in he half wondered if he'd see some sort of new weather.

Today they didn't have anything planned - his father had told him and his brother to stay within the falls. As he and his mother were going on a hunt to feed them all. Apathy knew he was growing increasingly hungry - he wanted to learn to fight and hunt. He already enjoyed torturing small animals if that didn't say anything, but his family still loved him either way. Of that he was appreciative of even as a pup.

Chasm had decided he didn’t like the cold. It made the pup feel miserable as he explored, and from what his parents were saying things were only going to get colder. At least his Mama had tore some of the fur off their prey for them to lay on. It wasn’t pretty and neat like some wolves might make it for trade, but it was warm! But one thing would coax him out of the den near the falls -- and that was his brother.

Chasm twitched his ears as he exited the den, gaze falling on his sibling. He wiggled through the nippy wind until he got close to Apathy, sitting down with a low yawn. “Hiya ‘pathy…” The little brute fluffed up his fur against the wind, casting a grin at his sibling as he wiggled in place. “Wanna wrestle?”
