Amon had left his family after concluding their gathering with the intention of taking one last tour of Boreas before making the choice of where to settle their first kingdom. Hopefully the first of many. Never one to act on impulse, Amon was hesitant to rush into anything. Careful planning was the backbone of any successful endeavor, in his eyes. So he'd travelled north from the Bifrost into Boreas' southern territories.

The titan moved with lithe strength through the winter-touched land. Frost had withered its plants and left tender crystals of ice crusting the edges of its streams. Amon was unbothered by the temperature, well protected by his thick coat, but it did leave something to the imagination when it came to assessing the landscape. He could not guess what life might flourish there, except for examining the brown husks left behind. Perhaps he ought to have brought Malleus or Seth along with him for aid, but it was too late for that now. Amon continued his rambling journey, continuing to assess the terrain as he went, only vaguely aware of what or who else might be lurking in the area as well.

"Talk" "You" Think

Amon is prone to foul language, insulting comments, and the occasional act of violence.
His children are welcome in any and all of his threads!

The mainlands had certainly proved to be quite... interesting so far. Her encounter with the birds, if one could even call those wretched creatures that, had left her feeling slightly unsettled. Ambrosia was admittedly wary of heading too far away from the sea to begin with and that certainly hadn't helped her impression of Boreas any better. These lands were unfamiliar at best to her, and she wasn't quite sure what lurked further from the ocean. Though part of her longed to return to the islands she called home, she had yet to find much of interest - and she wasn't willing to let this trip go to waste. She'd have to find something of value, whether actual physical things or merely information, to bring back home to her family.

Her mood was slightly sullen, dampened by the change in weather - and longing for the slightly more mild winters of her home islands. Not that it was at all intolerable here, merely a hint less pleasant than she was used to, but this continent was a far cry from home and from what she was accustomed to. Even the current territory she was exploring was somehow more devoid of life than she expected even now, a place that was clearly once more fertile and teeming with life, now.. desolate and grey. It was a touch depressing, if she was being honest with herself.

The scent of a stranger though hit her suddenly, sparking a new interest. It'd been some time since she'd encountered any of the mainland wolves, and she'd yet to find much of value so far, and something about this male's scent told her he might have something for her - it was strong and masculine, littered with the scent of others. Perhaps he was a social wolf, or at the very least one who encountered others often enough for it to be apparent. Head tilting, she trailed after the scent, pausing a wide distance from him and peering across the gulley at him.

He stood nearly two heads taller than her, which she could tell even from a far distance, and his build was far different from her own. He stood in a way that commanded attention - not that she'd hesitate in giving it to him, curiosity shimmering in her orange gaze as she slowly headed his way, wearing a pleasantly neutral smile. "Looking for a snack, or just enjoying the scenery?" The thought of food made her stomach rumble uncomfortably; soon she'd have to take another trip to the beach to see what she could find for a meal, once she'd spoken to this brute.
