Cool Waters
It was mid day when he finally made it to the lake and at first he would sit on the shore and relax a little bit getting his strength back up before he waded in to swim. After giving himself some time he slowly waded in, giving his body time to adjust to the temperature of the water. When he was deep enough he began to swim, making large circles. The circles were large enough that he would not get dizzy.
He didn't know if this would help his aches, but at least it would help to keep his muscles toned up as he would continue to age. He was no spring chicken anymore and he was learning to adapt to that, but he had to keep up with his kids at least.
It was nice seeing Pegasus again. Now she was on the hunt for her other children, though she wasn't sure where to start looking. The woman decided to begin her search in the West where it was warmer, and from here, she'd branch out until she caught sign of them. She figured that if she had found Peg in the area, perhaps she'd find the others around here as well. While she wished to see her children as soon as possible, she didn't want to wear herself out rushing around in search of them. Considering it was a nice day, the woman decided to relax a little and take it slow. She knew there was a lake nearby so she headed towards the water for a drink and to sit and think.
The Lady emerged from the foliage and headed towards the water, but as she neared, she spotted something swimming around in the lake. She paused, hesitant yet curious. At first, she didn't realize it was a wolf and thought it might be a prey animal, but as the creature circled around, she got a glimpse of its face and recognized it to be a wolf-like her. She watched him for a few moments with curiosity. It had been some time since she had a conversation with someone else besides her son and the young male Osiris since she arrived here. Helena was a social creature. Isolation was not her sort of thing. So with confident steps and her head held high, she approached the bank and stood just out of reach of any splashing water. "Good day, sir. Nice day to enjoy a swim, isn't it?"
