Killian Saltwater dripped from the brutes form as he moved up the shore inland. Beaming sea-foam eyes feasted upon the delightful sight of the island. Mainland had been seemingly sullied by the onslaught of ash but the island seemed to have little notion of the eruption. The beach seemed tattered by heavy waves but at this point it had slowed down quite a bit and he was able to swim with little difficulty. Thus, Killian made his way into the wilds of the smaller island. The massive male kept his wits about him. Not only was the Klein in an unknown region all together he was on an odd little island off the souther coast. He wasn;t sure if anyone had made their home here. As the tall Wolf made his way through the wilderness he took in all the sights, smells, and sounds. The scent of ripening fruit filled his nose and made his mouth water quite a bit. With a swaying tail he moved towards a citrus tree and gave one of the Oranges a good sniff. With a smile and plucked the fruit from the tree and lapped at the juice once putting it on the ground. Killian couldn't help but to feel like a happy pup while surrounded by such delightful delicacies. "Speech"

There had been so much Zee needed to think on as of late. Sirius was driving her insane with his torture of slaves, his now broken leg, and his odd affections for the newest member of their armada. She needed to get away from the grumpy titan and since his broken leg would push back their promised honeymoon for a third time, she decided she'd go adventure on the nearby islands without him. The new queen told herself it was important as their herb stores were down and islands such as this could hold many un-touched plants, but in reality she knew nothing of the art of herbalism and was definitely traveling to relax and not to work. She came from the far side of the island where you could look out and see only ocean. The salty air did wonders to relax her rampaging mind and the sun-warmed grasses beneath her feet brought a grin to her face. This island seemed almost untouched by the volcano's wrath, and it was incredible to see nature's beauty once more. As she walked she stumbled upon a new scent - a strange wolf - and bristled slightly. Her new title brought discomfort and worry to her shoulders, where previously as a slave she could sleep easy knowing someone else was in charge of keeping her safe. They were far from home however, and Zee realized the importance of allies and friends when you had a pack to take care of. She forced herself to relax, stepping closer to the man once her body language was settled. Her heart still thumped a little harder then it should have, but truly it had been rare the last few seasons since she'd been outside of Ashen's territory to even meet a stranger. "Mind if I join you?" She greeted the large wolf carefully, keeping herself out of his personal space but approaching the tree to sniff at the fruit which he'd picked from it. "They smell wonderful." Killian Killian had torn at fruit enough to get the outer skin a part and he began to nip at the innards. His pink tongue lapped at his inky lips to get every last drop of the citrus. Back home the male was within a primal group of druids and mystics. Often they would have fruits, berries, and many other concoctions to accompany their usual meals of meat. But, within his time as a loner in search for his family he hadn't experienced such luxuries. It had been the stray small prey every few days to keep his belly from rumbling and energy high. The slate and ivory beast was relishing in his bounty as another approached. Initially his fur bristled and teeth began to bare out of primal instinct. But, her gentle tones and feminine flourished caused him to ease slightly. Those fierce blue eyes flicked to her pointed form, taking in the oddity that was those horns. Killian raised a brow and must have looked as though he was staring at a mutant. Well.. he was. The Klein hadn't ever encountered such a unique Wolf. The most he had seen was his his albino brother and he heard stories of his melanistic grandfather. But.. Horns? Never. Killian stopped oogling at the babe after a moment and lifted his jaw with a tiny huff. The brute lifted his lips into a gentle smirk as he dipped his head into a gentleman esque bow. "Who would I be to deny such exotic company?" Perhaps he was laying it on thick. But.. She had horns. He moved to another low hanging Orange and gentle plucked it from a branch, careful to not puncture the skin, and moved to place it near her. Not too close to be disrespectful, but to be clear he was offering her the fruit. As he raised his head and took a step back he shot her a pondering gaze, "I am Killian Klein, who may I be fortunate enough to meet?" "Speech"

The man's odd staring was something Zee had not encountered often, though it was plain to see from how his gaze was directed slightly above hers that he was focused upon her horns above all else. Blackened lips were pulled in a grin and the new queen tilted her head to the side slightly to regard him with curiosity. From what she'd seen such 'blessings' were not uncommon - half of Ashen had some sort of mutation and Zee still sometimes forgot she'd even grown them. "I've been called many things, but never exotic." She responded with a soft laugh. He offered her a piece of fruit and she stepped forward to sniff it, taking a cautious bite at it's skin. A pleased murmur rumbled in her throat and she licked her lips of the citrus juice that dripped down from her maw. When he introduced himself to be a Klein, Zee lifted her head to blink at him in what could only be read as shock. She felt her heart clench painfully for a sudden moment until she realized she was no longer a slave and did not need to fear Deathbelle's family nor their strong opinions on lesser wolves. "Well then, that makes us friends in the very least. Your family means quite a bit to me." Her smile widened and she nodded a respectful greeting in acknowledgement to his bloodline. "Deathbelle Ravage Klein is my Empress, her Warlord and I are in the process of recruiting for an offshoot pack - an armada of warriors." She leaned down to nibble on the fruit once again, eyes still focused up upon his face. "We're not far from here. If you're in need of meat or shelter we'd gladly provide it to you." "Speech"

Killian Killian knew it was a bit rude to stare but the babe didn't seem to mind. His thoughts moved to the rest of the native Wolves. 'Are they all.. mutated?' He had always been taught to accept others and thus he would not judge anyone for their physical attributes. Nor would he even had the mind it. Killian thought over the number of helpful traits he would enjoy. Fangs for fighting, claws for climbing, horns for ramming, and much more. After a few moments of pondering his attention was turned back to their conversation. She had mentioned she'd never been called exotic before which left the beast chuckling gently. "Perhaps it is because where I come from I'd never seen a Wolf with horns." Killian offered a shrug in attempt to downplay his level of wonder when it came to the situation. 'Was she born with them?' He had half the mind to ask but then he figured that may be pushing it a bit. "But, the horns are merely complimentary to the rest of your beauty." The Klein nibbled some more of the delicious Orange before licking his lips clean again. He was filled with a hum of glee to enjoy such a great snack. Though, his simple thoughts were interrupted by her next vocals. With her introduction his eyes seemed to widen a bit. Killian could say her scent had a touch of familiarity but he had some much citrus that his sense were muffled a bit. The lady explained her affiliation with the Empress and the male dipped his head down in a more gracious bow. "I did not know I was in the presence of a friend to the family." The brute smiled, "My brother Elphias had spoken of the Empire and I had planned on making my way their to see it for myself here soon." A chuckle. "I got distracted by the Island and what adventure it my hold." Killian nodded softly, "I am lucky to have bumped into you, miss. I would be more then gracious to accept the invitation into your Armada. If you are in need of warriors I am here to aid in any way possible." The male was built to protect and fight for the Kleins. Standing tall and sturdy. Killian raised a brow, "I don't think I caught your name.." "Speech"

To say the feisty blue-tinted girl had been often described as beautiful would be a vast understatement. The Kleins within the empire were not known to throw compliments to their servants and now that she thought about it, even Sirius was not known to express such words. The new queen felt heat in her cheeks and turned her gaze downwards to regard her small paws and the fruit that lay beside them. "Thank you." She murmured shyly after a moment. "You're quite magnetic yourself, not unlike the rest of your bloodline." Whether or not they were kind directly to her, Zee had seen the way the wolves of their empire could use their words and bodies artfully among those they aimed to befriend. He spoke of his goal to find his kin again and Zee nodded understandingly. "Elphias is a name I'm not aware of, he must be new as well to Deathbelle's ranks. The both of you would be very welcome to join us, we're working hard to recover from the volcano's wrath and an extra hand is always appreciated." She gave him a warm smile before turning her head to look out across the waters back towards her home. "We are to be the Empress' first line of defense. Her main army as well as a school of sorts. We could always use more capable warriors." Zee looked back to him, soft blue eyes trailing along his over-sized form. He was not quite as large as Sirius but his height was exceptional regardless. His heavy build was muscled and spoke to his training and strength. A fitting member of their army, and Deathbelle would be happy to see another family member home. "We're making temporary camp at the oasis just a bit north from here, but I have no rush to return at the moment." Gingerly she leaned down to nibble once more on the juicy fruit. "These are simply divine." He mentioned not catching her name and Zee gasped softly. "I'm so sorry! I got caught up in the excitement." A quiet chuckle peeled from her and she bowed her head in a formal greeting. "I am Zeitgeist, but I'd much prefer if you just called me Zee." "Speech"
