For the most part Hattori's patrols were uneventful, but the same most certainly couldn't be said of today. He followed the line that split Ashen and the Armada, only to pause as the potent scent of swan dung met his nostrils. It wasn't all that uncommon to come across birds during his ventures but they'd never been so brazen to just mark over territory that was already covered by not one wolf pack but two. He would have simply let the matter go, given that a swan wasn't really worth his time but it occurred to him that swan meat was considered a delicacy by some and perhaps....Well, Ashen's larder was looking increasingly bare with each passing day.
Steering off course, Hattori followed the smelly brown smears and the telltale flippery foot prints that meandered through the mud. They were freshly waddled, the swan couldn't have gotten far.

Intruder, intruder! Ophie rushed along, sides heaving as she skittered her way towards white blur in the distance. She preferred to play closer to home but when they were being invaded by a long necked beast she had no choice but to do her duty as a Fatalis. But where were the others, could she take it down alone? She pushed through the grass, emerging through the other side only to skid to a halt-oh that was that guy! From Ashen, the scary serious one who'd taught them how to fight. Knowing that he was on the trail Ophie felt a little more confident in herself, with his help surely they'd show it who's boss with no problem at all!
