Huntin Sheep

Kotori roamed the mountain searching for a good kill.  It wasn’t his favorite climate but it was good to remain versatile and practiced in all areas.  After a bit of time, he heard a sound that could only belong to sheep.  Kotori didn’t rush but continued making his path up an icy rock pathway.  The horned wolf's claws could be heard tapping against the cold ice as he moved.

Finally, he saw where this path and another would converge to take him to the sheep.  Hunting on his surface alone would be tricky as a straight-out game of running could end with his slipping or falling if he ran all out and if he went slow the hooved game would escape.  That didn’t mean he expected failure, only Kotori would have to think up where he’d like to corner his meal so it couldn’t escape.
