He hadn't exactly come to his mother's beck and call. He followed her around here and there, sure, but wasn't really sticking close in the sense that Tomie and Jay did. After having found his way to the desert pack for a bit and after his mother had found him, he had stuck around in the general vicinity of wherever his family was. And then after that desert pack fell, Phantom had continued his own solitary wanderings. But generally came back to wherever his mother was situated. Now that he was a yearling, he had freedom to do what he wanted, when he wanted. Not that it was much different from before as a wandering loner with no pack to really keep him contained. He often spent a lot of his time in the darkness of caverns, but his favorite place was The Deluge. It might have been the tar pits, but another pack laid claim to that, much to his dismay. And while he had considered joining them, he figured he ought to check out the pack that his mother seemed keen on joining. The small yearling made his way to the borders at last after finally making up his mind. Though he wasn't 100% sold on it, at least it was a potential place to rest his head. Though ultimately, he wanted a place that wouldn't judge him on who he was and what he liked to do. Pitch black gaze studied the ship as he stood below it, just on the fringes of the border. His black body a stark contrast against the white backdrop of snow. Tilting his head, he sung a hollow howl, calling for whoever had the authority to maybe allow him to join. |
There was another howl at her borders, this time it sounded like a younger male. Interest perked her ears and made her rise from her furs, Requiem was still out on his scouting mission, so she would be greeting this stranger by herself. Samael and Ilyn stood guard at her door, and when she left they followed her.
