Far below the black soil of this lakeside sits a dormant volcano, one that has not erupted in anyone's memory, or that of their ancestors. Still, the signs of it's existence are there for all to see. Cracks in exposed bedrock vent the smell of burning rock and brimstone, and the earth shakes frequently with the inferno's slumber. The eastern edge of the volcano rest against the shore, creating an unusual cove that is infested with various species of spiders.. many of which are not very friendly.
