While she didn't quite share his surety, still worried tha she might lose him somewhere along the way if things continued to worsen, it was nice having his confidence there to back her up despite what she thought. Mercainne seemed very happy that Toprak would go with her, to where her pack was. He knew she wanted him to join her, and truthfully he would not mind, but only if he could stay with her.As they both picked up their paces, Toprak occasionally would glance and catch the eyes of Mercainne making sure she was still with him.
