The lands of Ludicael were finally cooling off. After the warmth of summer had finally begun to fade, the small male had begun to spend more time out and about in Ludiceal's territory. It was nice to get out during the day and not want to suffocate. Of course, just to be contrary, that meant that Frino was wandering about at night. There was something to be said for the beauty of Ludicael's territory at night. The glittering, gleaming waters, and the clear stars above his head. He was far from an active stargazer, but that night found Frino carrying himself across the lands on dainty paws.
A cool breeze stirred soft gray fur as the striped creature padded along, each step careful as he meandered through Ludiceal's territory. Time passed in a strange manner as he wandered. It almost seemed to have stopped, honestly. Surely, the sun would be creeping up over the horizon by now? His sense of reality was disordered by the loneliness that threatened to rise up and swallow the social creature. He needed to see other wolves. Frino was, in short, unbearably bored.
And unfortunately that boredom had hit him on a night where there didn't seem to be any other night wanderers. The thought had Frino stopping, frowning slightly as he flopped down to the earth, mere inches from the bank of a slow moving lake. He paused for a moment, a wicked grin spreading across his features as Frino reached out with one to paw to smack the surface of the water. Ripples spread out, and the glitter from the water seemed to grow in brightness until the area was well lit, illuminating Frino for all nearby to see.
If there were any other wanderers, perhaps that would draw them to him. If not, Frino would soon go on the prowl for entertainment. Perhaps he would find it on Ludicael's lands, though at the rate things were going, the thought of heading out into loner lands for at least a short while seemed entertaining. Hmm. What to do? Surely something entertaining would pop up soon, right? Otherwise Frino might die of boredom.

silent steps carried her slowly across the territory, the ludicaen nightwalker that was forged from habit and molded duty taking her time in her steady but purposeful gait. seductress hips swayed ever so slightly, the smallest of bounces present in her step, all a product of the lingering sensations of the night before. the lass cared little that the scent of her alabaster lover, marvel, mingled heavily in the threads of her fiery pelt. peace made her conscience light, the memory of pleasure aiding in lifting it from the weight of the act itself. the night, pleasantly very much like the one before it, was cool, enveloped in the grasp of early fall, its navy sky splattered with a myriad of stars and a half-full moon. had she looked at the same celestial body forty-eight hours ago, the sol might have seen it as half-empty, but with her nerves still singing with her own guilty pleasures, she found little time for pessimism.
it took her little time to come across the sight of a familiar wolf in her wanderings, and for a moment her pulse quickened at the silhouette cast against the gentle glow of the river, conscience flickering back to visualize the handsome face and to hear the lusty words of marvel. after a moment's observation, though, rational observations in to identify the individual as another suitor that she believed had at some point vied after her--frino.
in view should he happen to chance a glance behind him, the fiery-pelted lass settled down upon her stomach, ebony lips curled upward in a smile. the sudden sound of a flash was punctuated with a brief flare of light, informing her that he'd pawed momentarily at the water. amusement became evident upon her visage, violet eyes still intent upon the male. still seeking the element of relative surprise in which to provide further entertainment to her good mood, jupiter wasted no time to speak.
"oh, now, what did the water ever do to you, frino?" the lass chuckled. jupiter shifted her weight to a more relaxed position, still upright but her body fitting more comfortably into the scattered curves of the roots beneath her. "unlike myself, it won't bite." ebony lips closed and remained that way for the moment, though another very slight peal of laughter resounded in her chest, dulled by the lack of passage from her mouth. hm, i'd best be careful, she mused idly in her thoughts, wouldn't want to become the pack's common stale, now, would i?

crawl. crawl more. drag your hands and knees across the destruction left in my wake to the ends of the earth. there's a green light of a shining star in my sky and there will not be an obstacle i will not overcome until i cup that star in my palms. the void in my will has been filled with purpose. so crawl. crawl more, love.
