The girl had not wandered far from her family, but she had allowed her curious steps to take her outside of the willow grove that her family sheltered within. It was still close by, even for the tiny girl, but she felt like such an adult in those moments. She was standing on her own, and the draw of the outside world had been impossible for the teeny youngster to ignore. Without seeking the blessing of her mother (which Faite knew would worry the silver woman), she had set off in search of a small adventure. Faite didn't want to have the adventure of a lifetime or anything - she just wanted to see a little bit more of the world and then make her way back to her family in one piece.

The small pup flopped onto her belly in the soft grass of the Emerald Valley, her black and russet tail waving enthusiastically as she gazed at the world around her. It was so big and so pretty! There was a small bird trilling nearby, singing the story of its day, and listening to its pleasant song left Faite drowsy and comfortable. The sun warmed her dark back and sides and Faite found herself half asleep, gold and blue eyes drifting shut as she remained oblivious to any sort of danger that she could be in.
