Taking a stroll wasn't quite manly enough, or devilish. The boy was out on a prowl for nothing if that, he was just taking every chance to get away from the stinking family of his. He was awfully young, but he had felt like he could take over the world since the day he was born. Maybe his confidence would end up killing him one day.

Killing? Death? Please, he could not possibly just die. He was way too awesome for that. Nothing could slow him down, and there would be no one to tell him no. He was a free spirit, he could never be caged.

Russet fur caught in the plain's grasses as he trotted along almost in circles. There wasn't really anywhere to go now, but he would make it seem as if he had been out doing better things than his siblings. He was better than all of them, heck everyone in the pack was below him.

Only the thoughts of a pup perhaps. But if only they knew what he would grow up to be.

The chestnut pup was quite fond of his family, even if he had not spent much time with them. The only time he was with them was at nightfall in their den. Ever since he was taught how to walk, he had been exploring and running around solitarily. Sometimes he even felt like he was drifting away from his siblings, especially his brother. Alvin seemed like a completely different pup with a weird personality and yet somehow Tinaro looked up to him.
And Alvin was right there! In front of him! He slowly snuck up from behind his brother, easily making his presence known.

"Hi Alvie!" He squeaked cheekily as his paw steps became level with his brother's. He was a little immature but he didn't seem to care how he was acting around others. With his loud mouth, he might as well be annoying his brother.

Alvin would take a moment to stop, his right paw stretching and quickly dropping, and then his left following after. Much like a cat trying to catch a cricket or whatever. But the voice of someone familiar would creep up behind him. Tinaro. He pulled his ears back in response, closing his eyes before turning around.

"Tinaro!" His voice would start low and then heighten, "Why're you over here?" He questioned with an easy-to-spot fake grin. Though it was stretched wide across his face. He had come out here to get away from his family, but he wasn't sure if he would have rather had a stranger come and spend time with him.

The gentle boy did not expect such a greeting, especially with that phony grin his brother pulled off. It seemed as if he wasn't wanted. Wasn't wanted by his own brother! All he wanted to do was play, hang out and spend time his siblings. So far, the only sibling he was able to find was Alvin. He thought Alvin would be perhaps a little nicer or friendlier. After all, they were kin, or did that not matter to him?

While facing his brother, Tinaro pulled his head back and folded his own ears out of surprise. He wasn't going to let his brother's stubbornness get in the way. He kept his tone strong, facing up to Alvin. "I followed you. Is there something wrong with that?"

And don't smile like that! He felt like adding, but silently let it roam free in his thoughts.

He hadn't mastered his art of lying, at all. But no matter! He would one day! He turned his head to face away from his brother, eyes and face relaxing though turned more annoyed if anything. But it was too harsh, that was if his brother saw.

"Notta all."

He mumbled through his teeth, thinking barely of what the two could do together. Maybe it wasn't so bad having company, even if it was his family. At least it wasn't Bass.

"What do you think we do then?"

He asked not sure if there even was any group activites around. He'd get over it.

At least his brother allowed him to join, and that was all that would keep him happy for the day. He thought in silence as his small mind busily worked away to find something they could both do. In his opinion, group activities were more exciting and plentiful than "me hobbies". The larger the group the better, but there only seemed to be two at the moment. An activity for a pair, would could they do?

"We can play games like hide and seek or explorers or rabbit and hunter." Fun and games appeared to be his preferred type of activity. He couldn't exactly think outside of that. What if his brother didn't want to play a game? Are they too childish? But they were pups! He would just have to wait eagerly for a reaction while brainstorming a few more ideas.

Tinaro would think a moment, Alvin looking at the horizon of grasses just as he did. Unmoved as his brother mentioned a few games as he spoke, Alvin wouldn't be too thrilled by the idea. But he didn't know what to say either.

"I done know what any of that is."

True he never actually played hide and seek or hunter and rabbit, at least since he was weened. But he did know what they were and was just acting like he hadn't ever heard of them.

He was actually preparing for an explanation of each game, That of which he still wouldn't eye his brother and would actually secretly bear his teeth. He had the whole thing planned out, but what if Tinaro went a different way? Either way, they needed something to do. But games weren't really part of his thing.

He didn't know any of those games? What had he been doing this past season? Obviously not playing games, that's for sure. But wouldn't he get bored not playing games? Maybe Alvin had come up with own activities. Maybe he didn't games. Nah, of course he did! Who doesn't? Tinaro was more than willing to teach him the rules.

"For hide and seek one wolf hides and the other one has to look for them. Then they switch and take turns," He cheerfully explained with a naive smile, assuring his brother that there was nothing wrong with not knowing those games. "And for hunter and rabbit, one wolf is the hunter and the other is a rabbit. The hunter has to catch the rabbit or they'll go hungry. The rabbit has to act like a rabbit too."

Both games were quite similar, one for hiding and the other for chasing. Unless his brother knew some better activities they could do. At this moment, games seemed to be where this conversation was heading.

As he knew the games, Alvin would sit with a rather distracted gaze. Though he did take little note on what his brother was saying. When he heard the sudden drop of his voice, he would let out a questioning tone.

"Hmm..."

Making himself sound like he was thinking. He didn't really want to play games with his brother... or did he? At least he wouldn't let himself think that. He didn't want ties to anyone, family just slowed him down. Or whatever evil masterminds thought.

"How 'bout that rabbit one?"

He rose a brow, almost a question. He wondered who Tinaro would want to be; the hunter or the rabbit. Obviously Alvin wanted to be the hunter. There was no greater purpose for him.

He didn't mind which game his brother chose as each were equally fun. Alvin had picked the rabbit and hunter game, and that left only one thing left to decide. Which role were they going to take? He didn't mind, although being the hunter was his favorite. The hunters always caught the rabbit. Who would want to be outrun by a rabbit? Even if Alvin wanted to be the hunter, they could always swap around for the second round.

He kindly gave his brother the first selection. He didn't want to sound like he was too nice. If they continued to play this game in the future, of course he'd want to argue over who gets what. "What do you want to be? Your choice."

Deciding for his opponent to choose was weak on his part. Though most brothers probably would have seen it as a friendly gesture. Maybe even thank them. But Alvin did neither.

"IIIIIIIII" he prolonged, "Am going to be the hunter."

He spoke rather proudly, closing his eyes and not paying attention. Tinaro could have easily taken off with a head start, though he may not have needed it. Alvin wasn't paying any mind, a voice or a tap on the shoulder would be what he needed. He was too engulfed by his self-obsession.

He couldn't do anything wrong. He was the best. He was invincible.

It was easily decided. Although, for the next round, Tinaro definitely wanted to be the hunter. He hoped Alvin didn't get too comfortable with the position. After all, it was just a game, or so he thought. His brother closed his eyes and he perceived this to be a gesture for him to have a head start. He briefly checked for any peeking eyes before going along with the game.

"Start when you like!" Were his last words before bounding off in a rabbit like way. He tried to make his thundering paws as silent as they could be, or Alvin would easily be able to find his exact spot. Excitement pulsed as he dodged a few bushes, craning his head back to see if the hunter had begun the chase. He made sure he had spread as much distance between them as he could. Stopping by a bunch of trees for a breath, the pup alertly scanned the premises for any other creature. His camouflage against the tree trunks wouldn't hold for long. He had to be a smart rabbit.

Quickly, Tinaro would react. Though, he gave Alvin a warning before doing so. Before Alvin actually understood that Tinaro was off on his rabbit life, his brother was able to get a good start hopping on around the plains. An eye rose open, realizing that Tinaro was up ahead and Alvin started to take off after him.

"Hey!"

He followed him into the patch of trees, but had lost him afterwards and started to look behind every tree in the tiny forest here. Every time he really thought Tinaro was behind one, he jumped to the other side with a rather enthusiastic face that turned into disappointment when he discovered that there was no one behind it.

Soon, he was surround by towering trees, much larger to him since he was so tiny. He would be a horrible hunter. He sat down and looked around, trying to see if he could spot a tail or hear cracking in the fallen leaves.

He waited, which was not best option.

I'm thirsty!

Gradually, his thirst built up, making him want a drink. He tried to ignore the sensation but with each gulp he swallowed only reminded him how dry his throat was. He lifted his head to get a glimpse of the lake, hidden behind the many trees that grew before him. It was quite a fair distance, not to mention the many fallen leaves and branches that may alert his predator. Taking the risk, he hopped as quickly and quietly as he could. He was unsure how he was able to travel the distance without causing too much of a sound, but he had made it to his destination. He slowly dipped his muzzle into the water and was rewarded with the cool liquid. The pup wadded deeper, only to lose his balance and tumble into the lake with a splash. Fortunately it was shallow yet his splash surely would alert Alvin. Hurriedly, he made even more noise getting out of lake. He ran across the shore, tripping over his paws every few moments. He desperately looked around for his brother's dark pelt while he found himself hidden behind another group of trees closest to the lake.

As Alvin sat there, Tinaro's assumptions on the noise he had been making was right. It was either too far, or he was just stealthy enough to make it by without a crack or a crunch. Alvin had almost given up, he was about to let out a tiny puppy howl to say so but just in that moment he heard the splashing in a completely different direction. Weird how a tiny child who saw himself as a God was so wiling to give up a simple game.

Alvin's ear flicked backward in an instant, already assuming that it was Tinaro. It could have been a bear, or some crazy mythical monster, but of course the mind of a pup only saw what they were looking for. He took off rather loudly, his paws hitting every twig and pile of leaves that was in his way. But he thought he was the most quietest being in the woods.

He came to the lake and he instantly saw the trail of water coming from the lake and back into the woods. After the world's most quiet traveler, he was now the world's best tracker. He put his nose to the ground and smelled the trail, really only following it with his eyes. He kind of lost the track in the trees, but he assumed that Tinaro was behind a tree to the right. So without another thought, he jumped around the tree, legs spread out all over the place and his tail straight out.

"Ha!" he shouted.

(OOC: Tinaro doesn't have to be behind the tree if you'd like xD)

He shut his eyes, knowing he had blown his cover. It was all going well, until that point. He peered from the side of the trunk, finding his brother tracing his tracks he had left by the shore. He could have flattened his paw-prints, but there wasn't enough time. The only option he had left was fleeing and so the game's victory would only be decided by whoever was the fastest. He hadn't seen Alvin race before, and he didn't want to find out today.

Before he could make up his mind, his brother had already found him. He froze, slowly finding himself staring into Alvin's tricoloured gaze. No point in escaping now, was there? It was better if he announced his brother as the winner so he could be the rabbit next. After all, weren't all rabbits eventually caught? He knew Abaven had the best hunters.

"Aw, you win," Was that enjoyment in his tone? Did he enjoy playing the role as a rabbit? He didn't want to admit that, especially around his brother. "So I'm the hunter now!"
