Blending in with the cave walls, he was seen as nothing but a slinking shadow through the black. The cold and unforgiving darkness swallowed every tunnel and cavern in his path. His worn paws slammed against the icy stone, leading him deeper into nothingness. He travelled in silence with time draining from the unseen day. Daylight seemed so far away, unable to reach the depths of these tunnels. With the thought of daylight still hanging in his mind, faint light gleamed ahead of him. His eyes squinted, finding himself at a crossroad between two tunnels. He followed the strange powerful light through the tunnel on his left before the tunnel opened up to a larger chamber. Molten rock covered the floor and his eyes spotted an flaming orange river travelling through the chamber. A lava river, he had never expected to see those before. But it was beautiful to the man as he sat down by the river, feeling the heat flood to his face. How perfect would this chamber be for his own marvellous Kingdom? He grinned at the thought, cold evil spreading to his features. "Speech"

Exploring was her favorite pastime. If she had found anything about this land that she liked, it was the massive diversity of ecosystems and habitats. She could travel in any direction- and couldn't predict what kind of land she'd stumble into. It was with that cheery attitude, that she'd practically fell into this little cavern. It had taken some time for her eyes to adjust to the dark light, and when they had, she had curiously set off to explore. When her paws brought her to a bright and glowing river, that radiated tons of heat, she'd sniffed it- yelping as the liquid popped, the heat alone singing her face. She frowned, as she looked at it, before shaking it off and practically skipping away. As she rounded around a bolder, following the path of the river- her eyes landed on a figure who was sitting near it's banks. With a happy chirp she hopped towards him, "Whatcha doing?" She spoke in a happy tone! Who was he? "Do you know what that hot red stuff is?" She asked. She hadn't ever seen something like that before. "Talk" "You" Think

It was an energetic voice that sparked his attention. He turned to see a smaller golden female almost bouncing towards him with a chirpy and carefree tone. She was a curious little creature, wanting to know what the river's substance was as well as what he was doing. She wasn't even bothered that she was happily chatting away to a complete stranger. Oh well, maybe her energy would eventually run out. "Uh, I've been exploring until I found this neat place," He would reply with calm and laid-back tone, his eyes darting across the chamber, observing every section. He would next lift his head briefly towards the flaming river. "Pretty sure it's called lava." After a few moments, the lava below him crackled and sizzled, sending a small drop of the molten liquid flying out from the river and landing directly in the centre of his right forepaw. Heat stung him awfully, letting out only an low agitated growl. He next expected the young girl to start teasing or laughing. He really couldn't care less what she did. "Speech"
