Walk ? "Talk" ?
'Think'

He had come so far, yet he was so very far from his goal. He practically was on his knees, crawling toward what could be a new hope for his condition. He didn't know anymore.

Recently he had made his way back toward his original home, the Land of Seasons. The island had been ripped into pieces by storms and earthquakes unheard of, every fragment dangerously close to collapsing. As soon as he set foot on the island, sodden with water, something seemed so much different about him. Darkness began to cloud his vision, hiding his sense of right or wrong. At the time, he believed he had been letting himself slip from tiredness. Oh how wrong he was. It was so much worse.

A shiver of apprehension flitted across his body as his feet set upon the cool sands of the beach he had left from. Was it nice to be back, he wasn't sure of. It was more of a answer for others to answer instead of him. The wake of the waters had mangled his fur into such an mess that he looked like a sea monster emerging from the waters. His fur was matted against his body, revealing all of his sore muscles and bones. Honey gaze searched the line of the cliffs, waves rushing to meet it with small splatters and retreating quickly. Where was that path again so he could sleep without the fear of drowning in his sleep with how the moonlit tides could be? Cold dug into his bones as always, but he dismissed that.

Several jagged pathways jutted off the cliffs, each one more precarious than the last. Quietly, he would shake himself off, water spraying around him in a mist, and begin his journey up the cliffside, to the washed peak of wildflowers and fall asleep amongst their sumptuous fragrance.

Oh how he loved being this far away. He couldn't hear his mother call, his siblings cry, it was all too perfect. He almost felt free, it was overpowering. Soon his prancing paws would come to a stop as he eyed some weird man shivering and moving a ways up the cliff here, he wasn't looking too hot.

But his appearance, the matted fur making him look almost wicked, Alvin took an interest and followed him. Trotting up, his favorite thing to do. Running up behind him, he would make out a light puppy voice that would become a much deeper one in the years to come.

"Hey Mister! What's your deal?"

Wanting him to stop so that he didn't have to keep this overuse of energy to wipe him out. Hopefully the man even heard him, he seemed kind of odd anyway.

Walk ? "Talk" ?
'Think'

Well, wasn't it strange to see such a small child on the side of a cliff. His matted fur was dried and salty, and he smelled so much like the sea. He was still a sea monster, and would stay that way for quite a while, considering how he was gonna be for the next few days. Lazy as hell. The little boy seemed to have been following him for a while, and at some point in time, maybe a quarter of the way up the pass, his voice chimed all about. "Hey mister! What's your deal?" So he wasn't one of those superbly tiny wolves after all. His voice was young and serious at the same time. The brute couldn't really exactly turn around to see him, nor could he turn his skull, so he'd simply rumble in fake pleasure. "Well. I'm a bit preoccupied climbing this cliffside. Other than that, I have no deals for you, young man." His voice seemed to have taken a lighter tone that time. It was the fact of children about him. They always seemed to make him better, to make him heal. Maybe this young man could be the key to saving himself.

His banner was a matted mess of chocolate and mocha swirls, but he still waved it in the direction of the boy before he would trudge on, banded legs taking larger strides than normal to get up sooner. Luckily, the stone was slicked over with water or frost, making it pretty easy to climb, despite his bulky size. His muscles screamed for relief, but he just let it slide this once. The salt of the sea crumpled up his skin like paper, rubbing it down. For some reason, the man could feel the pup behind him boring holes into his backside, and if he wasn't, he'd still ask. "So, what's with you?" He would chuckle, but only to press onward.

The massive man, though Alvin paid no mind to his size, was not able to turn to face the pup on the curved slope. Alvin narrowing his eyes and slipping his ears back, stopped in his tracked annoyed that he wasn't able to stop. But then the man spoke again, asking what's up with himself. So he would hope along behind him, continuing to talk, something he was never able to do back at home since he hated them all.

"Well I saw you just kind of chillin'... Thought you looked a little weird, annnnddd here I am!"

Oh his paws ached to the hard ground here. He hoped they would reach a flat surface or a cave or something. This was murder. He would go back and forth between trotting and loping, falling back and catching up as they went up the rest of the way. Would this ever end.
