Count our strengths

With Bass's agreement, Motif would leave his side and make her way over, one by one to the wolves she thought would be right for the mission. She picked Harmony, not to help with the hunt but to be near by if anything happened and they needed a healer. She stopped before her sister, and with a smile asked her to come, she would brief them all together she had already decided. She stopped by Mira, and asked of her the same, she knew Mira, had fought with her and new her capable. She stopped by Venus as well, repeated her message, she didn't know the girl that well but she had gotten to tier 2 somehow, that should tell her something. Finally she decided on Quintus, she didn't want a large group and these four could be her elites for this night. She brought them to the mouth of the cavern and when they where all there she would speak. ?As you guys know its bad out there, but I believe your all up for what we need ? food. Tracking in this weather is going to be difficult, even navigating it should prove treacherous, but we need to eat. Are you all prepared to follow me out there?? She wanted to make sure they where all full in, she needed their hearts in this as well as their strengths. She waited for everyone to voice their okay and be prepared, she looked at Harmony then. ?You can join in the hunt if you want, but mostly I need your healing abilities? she would admit to her sister.

After seeing to it that Chrono had been properly placed in his eternal slumber, she was tired. Not exhausted, but tired. Making the journey to the Singing Caverns alone, after the others, was not really difficult - it was more tiresome on the mind than the body. Having to evaluate each step so carefully before even flinching. Perhaps that is what failed the calico male, adrenaline and fear clouding rational thoughts. What has happened could not be changed now and she did not dwell on it. There really was nothing to dwell on - it was nature's way to clean out the weak to make room for the strong. Motif had made her way to her galactic presence, asking her to help search for food for the pack. Mmm, a chance to return to the embrace of the gods. She welcomed the idea, not really for hunting, but for the opportunity to feel the sheer power of the gods' grasp around her feminine form. Paws would shift causing talons to click softly against the rocky floor as she listened to the woman speak. A simple nod would answer her question, a nod in which agreed to go into the storm. In fact, she would have went alone if asked. A true warrior would always return home, breathing or lifeless. Would she welcoming die for this pack? Probably not, but she would die for her own glory. To be written down and stories told of her undying bravery. And so she would wait patiently for whatever orders were given, not particularly happy about the idea of following the instructions of another in a situation as this. my actions | my words | my thoughts |

The soft clatter of talons intertwined in a perfect chorus as the others made their way to the queen's presence. All agreeing to go, though, the one dubbed Harmony seemed to only agree because she felt she needed to. Though, it was indeed to be expected from a healer. The queen's instructions were simple, though, really there was no need to split up until necessary to circle the prey. The senses of smell were heightened by the extra humidity. Sight would only play tricks in the heavy downpour. Staying close by would enable them to take care of one another and to ensure they did not get lost. For deer would be taking shelter in the canopies nearby - not embracing such treacherous weather. The woods would shadow their forms and their really would be no need to try to keep within the eye-sight of one's neighbor. Perhaps they would get lucky, however, and cross paths of one brave soul who dared to venture outside of the protection of the nearby evergreen forest. She would go along with spoken instructions - being put in charge of the second group. The distraction and shield. Shoulders rolled, stretching muscles and tendons for the journey ahead. Something spoke to her that this hunt would take a while in such conditions. As you wish. Your prey will more than likely seek shelter in the woods or use the nearby cave walls as a block from the weather. We might get lucky and find dinner nearby, if we take time to scan the walls first. The walls will act as a block and if there's a herd we can easily take down several without much struggle, I would think. Words would pour softly from her lips before she would make her way to the mouth of their shelter. Stopping momentarily at the door before moving into the arms of the gods. Placement was to the right as told, waiting for the others to join her. Though, in this moment before their hunt, she took in a deep breath and allowed the rain to trickle down her fur in an endless embrace. The water was cool, a welcoming change from summer's heat and the warmth the cave held. The wind blew heavily, away from her presence - the cave blocking most of the wind. Surely some form of prey would seek shelter by the cave's walls. In such a requested formation, it would give them the most chance of success. The forest would be a challenge. ooc; sorry post is crappy :( Walk ---- "Speak" ---- "Hear" ---- Think |
