YEAR 4
| Autumn | Twilight | -4?F (W.C.: -19?F) / Blizzard

Mistake, mistake, mistake... The wind screamed in Mirajane's ears, howling and caterwauling and being in all possible ways unpleasant. It was cold, oh so cold, and to be honest she couldn't see shit. Even the spirits had left her. Oh, this is bad, she thought miserably. Where was she! From the white murk that surrounded her a shadow appeared, tall and lean. She fell against it, finding the rough bark of a tree. The young girl maneuvered quickly around it, finding what little respite she could from the wind. Snow, normally so delicate, seemed to crash down around her. The drippings from her nose had frozen, as had tears around her eyes. Frost had bitten at the tips of her ears, and her paws too. Perhaps if she were not so small, so young, this would not have been a problem. Her mother would have known what to do, but she was at a loss. No shelter, no where to get out of the elements. Exposure would surely take her life if she did not act quickly, if someone did not find and rescue her.

She cried out against the wind, her voice likely lost in it's swirling abyss. "Someone, anyone," she cried out. "Can you hear me?" Spirit or wolf or bear, she didn't care. Shivers wracked her small frame and when she blinked ice bit at her sensitive lids. She tipped her head back and let out a howl, weak and wavering and more than a bit desperate. She was lost in a sea of snow, on all sides white and desolate. Caged in, alone, so alone. Her breath began to speed up and she looked frantically from side to side.

OOC: She is at the edge of the woods here, presumably in open space, on the area's border.

He should've seen the signs! You would think living in the north almost all his life would knock some common sense about snow into your head. Apparently not! Bullets of snow bombarded the man, turning his ebony fur cream. His eyes struggled to see a foot in front of his, his pleas for help whipped away in the wind.
Damnit! How would he get out of this one? He shouldn't have let his curiosity get the better of him, he'd been in enough trouble like that before... Blurry eyes strained to see as a figure loomed in front of him. Hello? He was pretty sure his shouts were blown away by the wind, but he continued until his throat croaked. Amidst the sea of white, Sage struggled towards the figure, the only thing anchoring the man.
