ooc;; set before the Olympus challenge <3

"I've never seen anything so beautiful..."

As soon as their arrived he would pause, jaw dropping almost to the ground and eyes agape as he looked around in complete shock and awe. Everything was white despite the warm season and he just... Wow... "Other then you of course..." He would quickly clarify, clearing his throat and coughing in an attempt to wipe the shock off his face as if she had caught him looking at another woman. He would chuckle nervously before clearing his throat again and touching his nose to her shoulder in his typical motion for her to follow him. The grass was soft here despite its ashen tinge and he found it hard to stop staring at all the sights around him. His paw caught a root and he stumbled, quickly catching himself before smiling shyly at her. Wait... She couldn't see that... Eyes closed for a moment before he sighed and carried on walking. Soon enough the sound of water trickling reached him and red ears would turn and swivel towards the sound. What was that? Without asking if she wanted to see he would set towards it, head lowering and no colored eyes studying the scene that unfolded before them. "It's a... I don't know what it is... But it's water..." He commentated as he stepped forward and reached in to dip his paw in the almost luminescent water. How odd...

His words would fill her ears as they stepped into an obviously foreign landscape, the texture of their surroundings would be reflected in the sounds that bounced off the smooth shrine. She would become curious, but the magnificent beauty of it would be lost on the olympian girl. Still, Solo would continue rather ashamedly to make sure she knew that she was more beautiful than the sight before him. She?d find herself smiling shyly as he looked away, her form continuing after him as they drew more near the water feature. Already she could smell the pool, the scent much different from other bodies of water she had experienced.
Suddenly Solo would trip, she could hear the difference in his step as the root got the better of him. A girlish giggle would leave her as the boy sighed and continued. She?d smile and nuzzle his hip as they continued, her own paws stepping high so she did not lose her footing. She?d catch the sound of water now as he led her further, his pace picking up as they arrived at the edge of a pool. He?d try to explain what was before them, but his success was minimal. Another giggle would leave her as she nuzzled his neck, her nose moving to take in the scent of the water. "There?s something wrong with this water." She?d sniff again, closer to the surface as she lowered her head.

She would giggle at him tripping and he would chuckle, more because he laugh was so infectious then because he found his stumble funny. Actually he was quite embarrassed, he was supped to be the one to help her and here he was tripping all over himself. Maybe he could blame it on her, and this place, their beauty was oh so captivating. She also seemed amused by his awkward coverup of his awe and he sighed, leaning into her touch as she nuzzled into his neck tenderly before she reached forward to sniff at the water. "There?s something wrong with this water." She said, her voice sounding odd as she breathed them across the surface of the water. He gaze her a strange look, water was water right? How could it be wrong? Stepping forward tentatively he would lower his head, studying her as he did so before sniffing the water himself. He couldn't smell anything?? "Whats wrong with it?" He questioned as he looked down at the water and then around at the edges of the pool trying to see if there was any discolouration or if it was being fed by anything strange. The water must have been coming up from somewhere beneath the earth. Was their something under their feet that was wrong?

She wasn?t really sure exactly what might be wrong with the source of water before her, as she couldn?t see the glowing she could only smell the scent the plants gave off. She didn?t know that creatures lived within the water that cause it to be bright within the darkness. Still, she knew that it wasn?t quite right even if she couldn?t explain it. Solo would ask her to confirm her suspicions, what was wrong with it? Of course, all she really knew was that it didn?t quite smell like the water she was used to. "I don?t know. It has a regular water scent, but.. there?s something else in it." She?d take another whiff, analyzing every part of it. "I doubt it?s poisoned" she?d start, "I don?t know that I?d drink it though." She?d lean back and onto her haunches to allow Solo to examine it once more. She?d lean into his shoulder and smile, glad to finally be on an adventure with her prince.

Because of nearly drowning, Charmeine is very afraid of water and may panic if she gets to close to it.

His eyes reflected the glow before him, watching the waters as they glimmered and gleamed but he had seen phosphorescent moss before, it wasn't overly weird to see that some creatures might have the same chemical makeup. But it didn't smell like anything that couldn't be drank, anything different from any normal water though it had no visible source of where it was fed or where it drained. She would speak again, stating that she wasn't entirely sure why it smelled weird but simply that it did. He would blink, regarding her cooly before shifting his gaze back to the water and tipping his head as he studied it now. Weird? Not poisoned but not drinkable. He would turn his head back to look at her, grinning mischievously even as she leaned back. "But what if it has magical properties? Immortality, invincibility, the ability to fly?!?" He exclaimed as he hopped up to place his paws on the edge of the lip that helps the water in, looking down at the waters with an expression of excitement and happiness. His tail wagged behind him even as Gaia leaned into his hip. "Hey don't sit down! We're adventuring! We have monsters to slay, damsels to save!" He barked, bouncing around her energetically, pushing his head into her shoulder a bit more roughly then he had intended before hopping back, reclining into a play bow as he swatted at her legs and paws with his own white dipped limbs.

As she?d recline she would wait while Solo had his chance to examine the waters more closely. She was sure that there was not much within that pool to hold her interest, though had her eyesight been there she might have enjoyed it. Most pretty places were quite lost upon her, she was more interested in sounds than landscapes. Solo?s words would bring her to a more curious state, she?d not thought of the divine?s interfering with such a spring. Maybe it really did have some type of magical power and that was what she had scented. Howveer he still would not suggest that they take a sip, instead he would come to chastise her playfully for sitting back on the ground. He?d bounce around her, his nudges causing her to once more take to her feet. She?d giggle slightly as he swatted at her, he was right she needed to be focused on adventure not resting. Even though she could not see him her own paw would swat at his features, a mischievous grin playing on her features as she too would assume the playful position. "I think you?re the monster Solo!" She?d giggle excitedly, "That makes me the damsel," She?d grin widely at him as she offered him a game.
