Bunny, bunny, bunny, I'm so hungry
Small footprints treaded lightly through the snow. Nose down, Sage followed the scent, his hunger aiding the search. His ears stood alert and his footsteps light. He was at silent as a shadow and looked the part. His deep black fur stood in absolute contrast with the heavy snow. A recent snowfall had left the land completely blank, the mountainside completely devoid of colour. Finally, the man found his prey. A his harp eyes looked on, his heart skipped a beat. He was in luck. There was not only one rabbit, but three! He suppressed a growl as his stomach sank low in a hunters crouch. His shoulders rolled and his tail flicked anxiously behind him. The trio hadn't noticed him yet, their large brown eyes completely unaware of what was to happen. The last thing they say was a shadow's jaw clamp around their necks. Happy with his kill, Sage Sat at the edge of a frozen lake, three rabbits in tow. He'd added another to his collection on return. He'd eat on himself, then take the rest home. Perhaps he'd pass on to Exodus and another to Arian. The other one anyone could have. The man sunk his jaws into the bunny, revelling in the taste. "Burn Baby Burn" |
A cool breeze billowed through her ivory coat, ruffling the edges of her fur, as she walked aimlessly through the woods. She just needed some time to think, to listen to the wind whistle through the trees, and to hunt. Tilting her ebony nose towards the sky she caught the scent of rabbit, thick and rich. Salivation formed in her mouth just thinking of the rich meat. Smelling one last time she caught another scent, one that made her stop dead in her tracks. Wolf.
Crawling through the brush she searched for the source of the scent and came upon a wolf. Surprised, she halted, mouth agape as she stared at the figure in front of her. Who was it? The thick scent of male filled her nostrils as she breathed in, staring at the back of the male. He was too absorbed in his meal to notice her standing directly behind him. Why was he here?

Sage took large bites out of the rabbit in front of him, relishing the lingering warmth. He was grateful to have found them. Halfway through his meal, Sage heard something behind him. Sending a glance over his right shoulder, he saw a white furred woman looking at him. The healer instantly sat up, bowing his muzzle to the woman. Excuse me, miss. I didn't see you. I beg your pardon. He smiled sheepishly before licking his muzzle. The biting breeze stung at his nose while the his bi-coloured eyes looked into the woman's. Would you care to join me? Sage's trust of others was massive. He'd learnt first hand the consequences, but his ways hadn't changed. "Burn Baby Burn" |
