The little white pup was growing more confident with being outside the den, though often she went straight to her mint bush to lay under it before finding the courage to go explore. Today was going just like any other day, time under her favorite bush while her pondering on what to do today, then off carrying out her quest for answers. Unlike most pups that just ran around exploring with no set goal, Shikoba always had a plan. She never left the bush without a wanting to know something and trying to seek out those answers. As she laid in the cool dirt under the mint bush, chewing on a leaf, she thought of the day she met all those new wolves. It had been scary for her, she see so many new faces at once, so many voices, it was overwhelming. But she did remember the older one, the white female. Mommy told her that was her great aunt, and well knowledged in plants. And so her quest formed, to find her great aunt and share her minty leaves with the elder female.

Snapped a small branch off she emerged from the bush, carrying it proudly, light blue orbs dancing as she sought out the white pelt of the elder. She wasn't sure where to find her elder, but she wouldn't stop till she found her. She was too stubborn to stop a search once she set her mind to it. Plus maybe Erani could teach her something of tell her a story! Either one would be wonderful.

[OoC: Finally, eh?]

Erani

Erani sighed softly under her breath as she looked down at the rippled reflection at her paws. The river was a constant, never waning even in the late summer heat. Her eyes lifted from the wavering image to the dappled light flowing through the willows. Was he watching? Her thoughts were thankfully dragged away by the sound of small paws, with the mingled scent of Shikoba and mint. By all rights, Shikoba looked to be a healer in the making. Erani had watched the youngster from the shadows. She was quieter, and listened to her parents about the plants they both worked with.

So she turned and faced the direction the approaching pup came from, ears forward, shadows swept under the moss, as it were. A lesson would take her mind from the darker thoughts threatening to cloud it. As the pup came into view, Erani saw the source of the mint scent, carried in Shikobas jaws. ?Hello, Shikoba.? Her voice was slightly roughened by lack of use, a roughness that would go away as she spoke more.
