Ugly scars now marred her facial features...  not that she had ever been vain anyways.  Unlike some, who could flaunt their beauty.  The deep gashes had formed horrid scars, permanently destroying her facial features.  It had been painful in the beginning, yes, but with the rest of her heat season to heal, the harlot had been back at one hundred percent.  Too bad she had missed so much.  Would she be deemed traitorous and chased off?

She dashed with great panache toward the lands, slowing as she approached the plains she once had called home.  Amethysts glimmered as she ducked her head low, searching for any signs of life still.  The border markers were still strong and familiar, clear evidence that Arcanum had not budged an inch in her absence.  Several feet from the borders, the harlot closed her eyes, sitting down.  Without another exhalation, she threw her head back and called for the silver queen or the king.  Perhaps this time would be better.  It was about mid-afternoon, the lazy medallion of sunlight directly overhead.  Unlike last time...  calling upon Cataleya at midnight hadn't been the best of ideas.  When her song was over, she sighed the words quietly.  "It has been far too long...  And the little harlot would wait.

The voice that rang out was not one she ever expected to hear again. Rising, she would depart from her bickering children, not caring if they followed or not. Silver limbs would carry her to the border, coral gaze immediately resting on the girl. Lips curled into a sneer that bordered on a snarl. "Brave girl aren't you." Coral gaze swept over her face that was now marred by various scars. The girl no longer held her pristine beauty, she was nothing more than a battered girl. Hackles threatened to bristle along her back. At least she had had the sense to linger at the border rather than just waltzing in. "Why should I let you stay?" Words fell icily from her lips as she stood motionless before the girl, uncaring and unfeeling. She had little time to cater to the whims of a foolish woman, she had far more important things to attend to.

He felt lost, scattered. He felt like he was walking through a world of fog, everything felt heavy and disconnected all at the same time. He tried to sleep as much as possible, tried to keep himself sedated so he couldn't cause problems but that wasn't doing him any good. Today he felt more tired then usual but when the howl woke him he would lift his head slowly and blink blearily. Wordlessly he would unfold himself from his children, nudging at them and growling softly to wake them before standing and slipping from the massive den they all shared. He didn't really wait for the children, no harm would come to them in pack lands… He couldn't let this howl go unnoticed though. He would trudge across the plains slow enough that the children could keep up if they liked but he wouldn't pay them much mind as he moved with single minded direction. Cat was already there when he arrived, hissing accusations and questions at her but Kylar payed his wife no mind for the first time in his life. Hooded gaze was fixated on the white bitch, the woman who had started as a slave, gained her freedom to be a pack member then disappeared. He barely noticed the marring on her face, eyes fixated on her own purple orbs as he staggered towards her. He would look to press his chest into her own, moving so her head would drape over his shoulder and his head would drape over hers. One might think it was an embrace except then jaws would part and slip over her spine half way down her back. She had to die. She deserved to die. She had betrayed them all. One paw slid to the side before he would use his body weight to fling the tiny woman to the side. A resounding crack would reverberate through him all the way through his teeth as he felt her spine yield to his force. There would be no running now. Acidic gaze would slowly slip towards his wife as he stood over her and for the first time in months a smile would begin to slip over his lips.

a crooked grin chisels the viper’s countenance as her mother and father evacuate the interior of their cavern, ensnaring her attention abruptly and forcing her infantile curiosity to pique. her vermillion gaze { teeming with devious intent } is quick to pinpoint her behemoth littermate’s own mismatched, posing a tacit query of whether or not to follow their parents to an unknown location before her shoulders roll briefly in their sockets in a silent shrug. elongated limbs soon propel the babe beyond the threshold of their haven and after her enigmatic father at a hasty pace, unwilling to stall for aster’s sake due to the intrigue reigning supreme over her budding psyche. and her brows furrow as they breach their targeted destination at arcanum’s boundaries, miniscule paws refusing to maneuver the viper any further as she halts adjacent to her mother’s right side, skull tipping upward in an attempt to meet her mother’s comforting gaze with uncertainty. though, despite the trepidation flaring within her inflated chest cavity, the viper’s stance remains entirely rigid, mimicking her mother’s own posture quite perfectly -- though she is wholly oblivious as to why.

tension engulfs the atmosphere surrounding them, and the viper’s molten gaze is unwavering from her father’s gargantuan physique as he navigates into the battered stranger’s proximities for reasons untold. an indignant snarl manifests upon the babe’s visage as her father embraces this unknown woman, hackles bristling duly upon the length of her spinal column as she steps forth and encroaches further upon her father’s space. { hey! he could only do that to her mother! } however, as a disconcerting crack! resonates through the air, the viper is stilled -- stagnant -- triangular ears swivelling forward as her jaws yet unhinge with astonishment. and as the stranger collapses into a grotesque heap before her father, the viper’s gaze widens before fixating upon the newly desceased, nimble limbs now incapable of propulsion due to a newfound and prominent sense of shock.

No words would be spoken from the girl, even as Kylar arrived with Dahlia and Aster in tow. He would approach the pallid fool, seeking to embrace her. Eyes would narrow until there was a resounding crack. For a moment she would look surprised, but it quickly washed away to be replaced by amusement. Empyrea would collapse in a heap, falling uselessly to the ground. Her coral gaze would lower to Dahlia who stood closest to her. The young girl looked shocked. Tiny jaws parted speechlessly as all she could do was stare. Breaking from the proximity of her daughter, she would step towards the fallen traitor, her silver crown lowering. Dark jaws would grip her pale throat, fangs puncturing flesh with pressure, until blood gushed from her wounds. With a few jerks of her head, she would rip open the womans throat, her blood soaking the earth beneath her. The tangy liquid teased her tongue as it slipped down her throat. Stepping back, her gaze would turn to her children. "Let this be a reminder of what happened to those who betray us." Her words were sharp and unforgiving, cold and uncaring. No one was safe from her wraith, not even her own children.
