In the dawn light, she nosed her King. He'd finally joined her in their den, since they'd been working on expanding it. She smirked slightly, as she nosed his shoulder, and whispered. "Let's take a walk." Greek stirred from his own small nest in the corner, blinking sleep from his eyes. She'd jerks her head in the direction of her pups, a silent question on her lips, and he nodded. She knew the children would be safe with him. Pushing out of the den, she shook herself, blinking, as her eyes adjusted to the dawn light. She walked forward, not waiting on Drashiel. He could easily catch up, before she broke into a trot, and then into a lope. She loved the feel of her muscles contracting and releasing as she moved. She put on another burst of speed, a happy yip leaving her jaws as she emerged from the trees- chasing a flock of northern birds into the air. She felt- young again, not that she was particularly old.

She slowed to a trot once she'd broken free of Regium's borders and she moved looked back to see if Drashiel was following. Her paws pulled her in the direction of the sound- and she let them. What could the savages do there to her and her king? If she wanted to steal their finest prey- she would. She was an Armada not the savage scum! She bounce slightly, and barked again, her tail wagging. She hadn't felt this energized since their pups had been born. Gods- she was a Queen and she wanted to play. Perhaps they could hunt? Something to make the walk a little less waste of time as she blew off her energy?!

Drashiel was lost in contented dreams, curled up against his wife and children.  All of them a tangled mass of warmth, furry and the gentle up and down breathing of slumber.  He dimly felt something nudge his shoulder.  Peridot eyes opened and the King yawned sleepily as he processed his wife's words.  Drashiel looked to Greek and slowly nodded.  He was still protective of the pups but he trusted Roman's companion to keep an eye on them and he doubted the walk would be long.

Carefully, the young king extricated himself from the pile of pups and out into the fresh air where he shook out his coat and stretched before trotting after his Queen.  He stared at her for awhile while they walked, taking in her beauty in the early dawn light.  "You're looking radiant as ever, my Queen.  Did you sleep well?"

She slows her pace, to a graceful walk, and smiles at her king- positively beaming at his compliment. ”You’re not so bad yourself- mi’grace.” She says with a teasing tone, a smile pulling at her lips. They soon leave Regium’s territory behind- and Roman heads towards the Sound, giving a distasteful glare at the Mile-high woods were a new set of savage fools had put their scent. ”They’ve got to go.” She growls. They’re too close to her home- and they dared to make a home in the woods her father had once claimed. They were no ally. They were no true wolves. Truly regal creatures would have at the very least introduced themselves to their neighbors. Not that Roman would even welcome them at their borders. The insolent fools. A snort left her jaws. She’d destroy them for their insolence.

”Shall we see if the other savages survived the winter?” She inquires, taking off towards the sound. She’s already making plans to drive both packs out and reclaim the North for the Armada’s. It won’t be long now, since the pups are born. She’ll soon make the needed arrangements.  A growl bubbles in her throat, but this time it’s nearly a purr of approval. Yes… soon she’ll slaughter them all. Their very existence makes her blood boil.

Drashiel laughed at his wife's compliment and puffed his chest out in mock pride as he reached out to nuzzle her cheek.  The mood shifted though as she spoke again.  Saying they had to go?  Drashiel's head tilted to the side as he observed his mate but then he realized who they were talking about.  The pack that had moved in right next door to them.  He nodded slowly.  Truth be told Drashiel had no desire to seek war with their pups so young but it was perhaps because of that exact reason he agreed that their neighbors needed to go.  Unlike Roman he was fine with other packs dwelling in the North but sharing a border with an unknown pack with newborns in the den made him nervous, especially as they knew nothing about these other wolves.  The could be vicious and thrill-seeking.  They had the whole north so why settle here?  Was it a challenge?  To taunt Regium?

Drashiel trails along after his wife.  "I don't think we have to worry about the farther of our neighbors.  I have not heard their howls for many moons but this stranger that rests right on our borders are definitely a concern.  However…" His pace slowed and he took a breath.  "Our Infantry is scattered and small and we have no lead warrior.  We need to build our military strength in case their hostile but I believe it would be unwise to go stirring up trouble with an unknown pack…. I believe Satu will make an excellent head warrior.  She still has some things to learn but she's skilled and she's spunky…" the only thing she was really missing was bloodlust but he didn't feel like sharing that.
