Valentine vs Neios

Pacing away through the familiar grass, Valentine moved away from the group in search of suitable sparring grounds. He didn't have to go far, the plains were largely flat and featureless. Distance was the issue; he didn't want to accidentally take out a spectator during the fight.

After a spot was found, the brute turned to face his opponent. He nodded, gesturing for the other to take a place a reasonable distance away. Out of the corner of his eye, Valentine spied Angelus watching intently. He spared his son a glance, winking at him to assure him that all was well. The brute then turned back to his opponent. "Ready when you are."
