The water was the closest thing the titanic brute had to what made him feel comfortable, it took him away from the heat of the day if for a little while and provided a little bit of cool. Of course, it was nothing like his chosen element, it was not cold enough and could never be called a solid. All the same, he did enjoy his occasional bouts in the water, and who better to enjoy it with then the Princess of the Sea herself. He also wanted to take the opportunity to see how his little sister was settling in and to get the chance to see her happy and enjoying the sea. He gave a soft bark, not quite a howl, hoping she would be near by as he padded forwards and sat just below the tide so the brush of water would swell over him and cool him down without rising much further then the width of his tail. By surprise, Locha found herself up on the crags by the shore. She was lying on a piece of flat rock, little pieces of seagrass sprouting around her. The girl blended in almost perfectly with the black sand on the beach. Her black fur matched the rocks and her white mask and legs matched the seafoam. She felt at ease here, so close to her element, although she often wondered how the others were doing here. It was and ideal place to live for her, but what about her many siblings? She remembered Sere's outburst when they arrived here, and it still worried her. Was she being selfish again? These darker thoughts were purged from her mind as she heard a bark from Glacier. Curiously she peeked over the edge of her crag, seeing her mountainous brother sitting in the swell near the shore. His back was to her. Locha smiled. It had been a while since she'd properly spent time with him. Despite how Locha seemed when you spoke to her, Locha was actually quite shy and seldom seemed people out for conversation. She kept to herself, rather than bothering anyone who didn't really want her there. Locha looked down at the swirling sea below. The current wasn't too strong here, and the water was plenty deep. With a happy bark to her brother, she leapt off the rock fearlessly, landing in the cooling waters below. Smiling, Locha swam to her brother, her strong legs carrying her almost effortlessly. Locha of course wasn't far from the water and his wait was barely a moment before he heard her happy bark and she was bounding towards him from the rock she had perched on. He would give his sweet sister a massive grin as she plunged into the water, and swam towards him, her strong kicks and easy stride showed that she was born to swimming. Having grown up the first few years of their lives on an island he was pretty sure all of his siblings could swim, but he was also pretty certain that none took to it as easily as Locha. He plunged further into the water himself, swimming to her as she swam to him. They met somewhere in the middle, can kicking constantly to keep his massive bulk above the water he leaned forward and kissed her cheek gently. “Hey little Sea Nymph. How are you doing?” he asked her warmly. ""
