(( The pups first please, then any family or pack members that wanna hop in may do so!))

Her two little bundles had grown so quickly. Had her first litter grown up so quickly? It only took a reminder that her children were old enough to be parents themselves for her to realize that yes, yes they had. It was about time, the children had begun to get restless. She was too to tell the truth, and more than eager to introduce them to the world outside the den. The pack offered a security she hadn’t had the first time around and she was eager for her youngest children to meet their siblings.

The wintery woman gently nosed at each pup, cooing gently at the pair. "Time to get up loves." She shifted slowly, not wanting to jostle them too much and rose to her paws. "It’s time to see the world." She pushed out of the den, turning back to smile at her son and daughter and to wait for them to join her.

"Speech,"

Goodness Gracious great balls of fire, thank you Fox!

from the moment of his existence it was decided that the child would be one to give his parents trouble - this trouble, however, had yet to truly ripen and blossom, and wouldn't for some time. true dementia had yet to rot the brain beneath his skull, aggression had yet to pull his features in a snarl and insanity had yet to bring out the spiders that poisoned his heart. for now, coddled and young, icarius was a harmless thing, unexposed to the world and its hellish truths; he was his sister's playmate to chew and scratch and his mother's doll to clean and cuddle whenever either wished it so. he was a darling boy, mindful of alamea's teachings and sarai's babbling, but as his mother nosed him awake and exited the den with a promise of 'seeing the world' icarius lost himself.

untangling himself from his snuggle with sarai, the child toddled behind his mother and buried himself in the fur of her leg. it was almost too much to take in all at once, tall trunks of brown exploded into the healthy heads of green, all around their bases were clusters of butterfly adorned blossoms and bundles of small bushes and ferns. The songs of the birds, which had been muffled by the encasing of the den, were now loud and clear as they started all around him - for a moment the boy's amazement was shaken when a curious bug decided his nose was a great place to explore and sent him sneezing, but he was quickly left in awe for a second time when the problem had been handled.

he looked up at alamea for only a moment, a way of searching her for permission, before he broke off into a shaky run to inspect and play with this leafy paradise.

Sarai grumpily awoke at her mother's nudging. She whined unhappily and covered her eyes with her paw, desperately wanting to not be awake. Well, that was until her momma mentioned seeing the world. Her bright pink gaze flew open and she was quickly on her paws with a gasp. "We're goin' ou'side!" she squealed, her little tail whipping back and forth. She followed along behind her brother and went over to where their mother had disappeared out into the open. She peered out into the bright sunlight for a moment before pulling herself out of the den on her mother's heels. "I's so briiiiigh'," she said, her high, naturally lilting voice coming in an annoyed whine as she looked around with her vibrant eyes in a squint. After a few moments though her eyes would adjust and she could look around normally. "Wha's 'his?" she asked her mom as she reached up and swatted at one of the fern fronds and watched it wobble this way and that under her touch.

Walk | Talk | Think

Rune knew the day was coming. He could feel it in the way the den started to feel more cramped with the children's incessant movements and rambunctious behavior, things that were best suited for a big wide world beyond the confinement of a place to rest and sleep. Of course, his natural protective nature made him willing to put up with becoming an indoor jungle gym and the big bad monster of his children's games so long as it meant they were safe and contained, but he had seen it in Alamea's face. They were going to be leaving the den soon to begin their first adventures beyond.

He had known this day would be it from conversations the night before with his little mate in the quiet of the den after the pups had fallen asleep, and when he had risen before them all he had taken care to ensure that the space outside the den would be suitable for them. The rest of the pack had been told, the older children included, and as he made his way back to the densite, ready for them to come out into the wide world beyond their earthen walls, he spotted Alamea already outside and both pups following on her heels.

The grey Guardian's gaze softened as he watched them both, Icarius sticking like a burr to Alamea's leg before building bravery to leave her side and Sarai voicing, as always, her thoughts on the situation in her high voice. They were strong and wonderful, perfect additions to his family. He cast a quick glance over his shoulder, wondering if any of the older children had decided to follow closely to him, and then approached the white wolf and pups silently, watching the little bundles of energy as he strode over to his mate with just a teeny smile curving one side of his mouth.
